The unsurfaced road to this working vineyard accommodation, shared by several other properties, was challenging for our small hire car, but the owner has plans to upgrade surfacing.

A cosy house in the middle of wineyards.

This is what you dream about when think of staying in a winery in Chianti. Gabriele, his wife Valeria, their family and staff treated us like family and made us feel so welcomed. You are literally staying in a vineyard lined with olive trees. Also, location is very near many small Chianti towns. Accommodations are comfortable and has everything you should need.

The only minor issue we had is there was no WiFi in our little house. But if I walked a sort way to the main house it was available.

Lovely location

We loved everything about our stay at Agriturismo Buondonno. The room is independent from the main property, it's a small house with its own kitchen, bathroom, living room an terrace. We liked the location in the middle of vineyards but just 15 minutes walk from a great Osteria, in La Piazza (important for us since we did not have a car), and of course we liked to play with the kittens in the garden. And most importantly, Gabriele was an amazing host! We were lucky to stay at the argiturismo right during the wine harvest season, and were introduced to this part of the process. Gabriele is very passionate about his wine, so be sure to try his Chianti Classico!
