Great quiet place, secluded between palm trees. There is a pool and shaded areas to relax. Rooms, even with no fresh renovation, offer a lot of space and all the things you need for the stay! The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Great for a short stay!
The room wasn’t the cleanest - floor was dirty, the bathtub as well, there was also no hot water in the shower or sink. In my room was an very strong odor of cigarette smoke. There was a pool, but it wasn’t cleaned.

Breakfast was really great, nice combination of meals. The garden is very beautiful and well kept.
We liked everything, just needed more lights with all the stairs.

The location was good and the staff al very friendly
The room smelled like smoke, and in general looked like the place needed a bit of attention as tiles were broken and the ceiling bathroom cracked.
The bedding had stain marks,

The location was nice, and it was possible to do a late check-in.
The room was really cold, even with the heater on. I was freezing during night time.

Lovely place in a peaceful location, not too far from the rest of the town. I loved the garden and animals wandering around. The info said there's no internet but there indeed was WiFi which was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom double sink was cool.
I was freezing even with the heater in the room. Also I couldn't get the TV on - didn't bother asking about it as I didn't really need it. Proper knives and a cutting board would have been a great addition.

Absolutely nothing.
After a full day in the car with two small children, we were delighted to finally arrive at our accommodation. Yes, we did receive booking confirmation before we left our home.
Upon arrival, no one came to the gate and we had to call the host. Eventually a gentleman came out and appeared very confused as to our booking. He barely spoke English and communication was frustrating.
He told us we need to wait for his wife to come and check us in, but we could wait in his house. At this point,it was supper time for our two small children and we were tired and eager to call for takeaways and relax after a long day in the car, but awkwardly waited around the house.
Time ticked on and no one came home.
We eventually called our hostess who said she is on her way. Our 3 year old became increasingly disgruntled as supper time came and went and it became difficult to keep her away from the boisterous dog, who apparently nips if you touch his ball. The gentleman gave her some crisps, which was kind, but at this point, that was a bandaid for a bullet wound as time continued to pass, tummies rumbled,we were exhausted, and no hostess appeared.
Eventually the gentleman managed to call the guests he thought they were expecting and they said they were not coming, so he showed us to their room. It was a small room with just a double bed. Nowhere near the family suite he asked for in our booking. To sleep on a queen bed would require the 4 of us to lie like pick up sticks. The general attitude from the gentleman was apathetic, indifferent, and if anything, accusatory. We asked if his wife could please come to us when she finally arrived. We knew there is absolutely no way we could all fit on the bed.
We began the hunt for a new place to stay. It was now nearing bedtime for the kids, no supper had been had, and finding a last minute room in a strange town is actually awfully stressful, especially with two tired kids in tow.

Unfortunately the shower leaked all over the bathroom and into the bedroom. It was absolutely freezing in the room, and there was no hot water bottle or electric blanket. I found it very difficult to sleep comfortably. Also there were no plates in the room.

Bernie and his wife were kind and genuine. The property is beautiful. My favourite spot was the bench looking into the garden, catching the last of the sun :) It is a very quiet, tranquil place to stay.
This isn't anything I disliked, only that the room was freezing at night. There was a blanket on the bed but it was not very warm. Maybe a warmer blanket, or possibly just to advise people that they should bring an extra blanket.

Roland and Suzanne are such lovely people. Warm and welcoming.
The room was a little dark, so, even during the day, loadshedding was a challenge. Rechargeable lights are provided, but they don't give off much light.

No complaints.
