Lovely small hotel with attentive staff and great location to visit Ephesus ruins. Great value for money.
Small and friendly family run hotel. Proprietor went out of her way to make our stay a success. Due to a delayed flight she was there to welcome us at 1 am. Seljuk is a great choice for visiting Ephesus. It’s a very Turkish environment, not full of tourists, and with an amazing market on Saturdays. We would highly recommend Ephesus Palace.

Quiet and cozy place close to Ephesus
The location is just perfect to reach Ephesus site while, at the same time, enjoying a relaxed stay. Our room was very clean and confortable. Very good quality for price. Also the way we've been treated by the hos has been amazing. I strongly recommend it.

Avoid this place
It was a short walk [ 10-15 minutes] from Selcuk station, which I appreciated. But be mindful, there's a steep uphill walk, if you are planning to lug your suitcase with you :)
1. Sleezey tricks to juice you: I arrived there hoping to stay in the Selcuk area and explore the neighborhood [ which is serene] and Ephesus/ Pamukkale etc. Upon making my booking, the property send me an email on March 31st, listing the tours and pricing they can arrange for you. The quote Ephesus tour for 50 Euro and Pamukkale for 50Euro. April 1st evening when I went to confirm my tours, they racked up the price by 30euro. So 80 Euro for each. It is true that the museum prices increased from April 1, by almost 100% . But if you search the net, you can tell, the ministry informed everyone by January. The host and her boss argued that they forgot to update the price [ which they had 3 months to do]. When I was insistent, they offered 65 Euro for Ephesus and 80 Euro for Pamukkale. By this point these sleezy efforts to rip tourists were getting on my nerves. So I went went Crowded Houses [ the same company this property uses for tours] and found Pamukkale is 65 Euro. I figured it was useless staying here and decided to move to a better accomodation. 2. Breakfast spread....: Although the breakfast is not a deal breaker for me, cracking in an egg on the pan, and tossing that to your plate, is by far not the spread the spread I had envisioned [ and I have been to other homestays/ hotels in Izmir, Selcuk and Istanbul]. A 10 year old can make a better breakfast. 3. Noise at Night: There were people [ may be other tourists or staff - I don't know] in the stairwell area being loud and noisy, not realizing it was past mid night and other folx may want to get some rest. it was very loud and noisy and kept waking up. Anyway, it was so disappointing on the whole, that I had initially decided to extend my trip, but I checked out as soon as I could.

Not bad for a quick stop but could have a few improvements to make it a bit more modern with more variety for breakfast.
Friendly staff and nicely decorated room with a reverse-cycle air conditioner.
The breakfast options were very limited and served to each person - not worth the additional cost in my opinion. The room had a few stains and yuck marks here and there that we had to turn a blind eye. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and it was a bit of a tight squeeze.
