Exceptional

Super comfortable and clean, excellent position. Shared kitchen very useful if you wish having breakfast at home. Sagres is a magic place and everything is walking distance from casa gigi.

Friendly host. Terrific location with everything close . The cleanest and best appointed accommodation we have stayed ,so far , in Portugal. The kitchen has everything required to cook your comfort food.

Convenient, clean, quiet!

The room was clean and appeared new, location was quiet but perfect for bus and a supermarket a block away.

Due to extreme winds during our stay, we sometimes had to close our shutters during daylight hours because if open the wind would disengage the shutter from the catch intended to hold it open, and it would bang noisily/violently against the sliding door. Not much English is spoken so communications were sometimes challenging, but otherwise it was a great stay.

Casa Gigi is a small quaint lovely house with many rooms to rent. The owner has decorated the house/apartment with love and itches everything one would need to cook and clean(washing machine). The Kitchen is well equipped and one can cook a great meal there.it also has a terrace when one can sun tan when one doesn’t want to visit the beach which my the way just 400 meters away.

nothing to not like, the bathroom is small and the shower is tiny. if you are a BIG person please don’t book this place as it might be difficult for you to move in the shower 😁. it’s just enough for someone who isn’t too healthy 😉

We will definitely stay here again!

We were there to celebrate our 40th anniversary and the hosts welcomed us with a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates! Alda was especially sweet and helpful to us.

ok it’s cute , it’s as advertised , it’s clean , not much to complain about bed was great really comfortable kitchen was more than adequate location was good price was right

the houses in Portugal are freezing , they lack insulation both from cold and Josie and this isn’t just tru of this apartment they are all the same . this apartment had one tiny heater in the bedroom which hardly coped , i don’t know why but condensation is a huge problem in all places in portugal sadly this lovely place was just as guilty from condensation you get mould and if these apartments are left for anytime even in winter mould appears the apartment was from first inspections very clean , but the mould was there still inside the cupboards the whole time we were there the floor was damp our clothes we washed never dried after two days while inside with heating on , the shower cubical was so small , we have stayed in 1000 s of hotels and B&Bs but this one was extra small nearly impossible for my husband who is 190 cm to even get into let alone utilese it , owner came asking about our stay as we were leaving and to tell us that we got dis punts at sone restaurant lot of good that was after we were leaving clearly he really didn’t care thou advertised cable television it was all local Portuguese’s channels and no cable

Nice and comfortable but should be a little cheaper for what it is.

Great location near markets and restaurants. Our apartment had a well equipped kitchen. Fridge, range, easy to cook there. Large bedroom.

The shower is one of the smallest I have used. Its one of those square, corner sliding door type ones. If you dropped the soap there was no way to pick it up. Like a vertical coffin. If you are small it may not be that big of a deal. The shower head also didn't stay in place. Not great for a long term stay but works for a night or 2. There is very little lighting in the bedroom which is fine most of the time, but if you need to pack or read or anything you should have a head torch. We thought it was a little expensive compared to the other places we stayed in Portugal. However, we would likely stay here again as there aren't that many good options in Sarges. There is not really a place to sit outside because that is the host's house/area. I'm sure you could, but it wouldn't have been comfortable for us. Beaches nearby left much to be desired. Lots of stinky seaweed.

Lovely place

It is a individual room with private bathroom in a big house with kitchen. The location is excellent. Gigi was super nice and helpful. It is near to the bars and also there are some school surf shop near to it. You have a big parking un front of Casa Gigi. The bathroom is well equipped (you have hair determinó and shampoo). The bed is really comfortable.

Friendly host, great location, and best stay of our trip.

Communication before trip was wonderful and I always got speedy feedback from the host. We were met on site as host resides there. She always asked how we were doing whenever we encountered each other in the outside area. The host´s husband, a chef, even greeted us at our table when we visited his restaurant in town. It was the best stay we had on our 3 week trip!

Superb

Excellent location and very clean. Many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, beach less than ten minutes. Check out Adega dos Arcos for food (by foot 8min away) and new bar Dory (close by on "main street" where there used to be "Mums") for nice and cheap cocktails (apparently best Negroni in town). Good WiFi, no balcony in our room but lots of nice places to sit in the courtyard. Excellent value for money.

There are a LOT of barking dogs at night and I mean a LOT. If one of them starts all others join in. Note: if you arrive there and can't find anyone give them a call, they will be with you within minutes.

Absolutely Perfect!

Absolutely lovely apartment with the BEST owner - she was so lovely, kind and helpful. She even took our washing in one day from outside (when we were out and it rained) and dried it for us bless her! Kitchen was well quipped (washing machine was an unexpected bonus!) the shower was powerful with lots of hot water and the bed was super comfy, the place was absolutely spotless too. Great lil coffee machine (you can buy extra pods at the Spar on the corner) and there were coffee pods, tea bags, sugar and a bottle of water on arrival. The WiFi was great and there is free parking directly opposite the apartment as well. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed, we loved it!

Great modern apartment close to the beach and center

The apartment is totally renovated and modern. The host is very nice and super helpful and cleans everything every day. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and 2 minutes to the supermarket. The wifi is super fast which is important for my online work
