Tailored breakfast to what you would like by the host - best poached egg, Good quality toast and spreads. Friendly hosts, Immaculate, Felt very luxurious and different areas to sit and relax in a well restored building.
You had to park in the street but the host helped direct you to the most appropriate spot and given the location of this historic building, there is no choice.

The stay was something different in a good way. It was like going back in time whilst having modern convenience. We had the whole upper floor to ourselves with a bookshelf of books including encyclopedias from 1956. Great memories. We had a very good meal across the road at the pub so no need to drive. Phil enjoys having people stay and provides great service and information to assist in your travels.
Parking on the street a bit of a worry but we had no problems and apparently in 5 years Phil says he has had no incidents.

Beautiful Bank turned into a B&B. Wonderful interior design, with vintage vibe but spotlessly clean. On top of it a lovely home made breakfast and wonderful conversations with the owners. Phil shared his great knowledge of the area with us, and showed us around their wonderful garden. This is what these stays are all about, touch of personalisation and humanity makes all the difference. Warmly recommended and we will be coming back should we decide to explore the area further! Don't hesitate, book and spread the word!
Nothing, everything was amazing!

We really love the room we stayed in. The interior was stunning. Large bathroom and very clean. The house had real character. The host Phil was very friendly and provided us with a lot of useful information. In the morning Phil cooked us breakfast which was delicious 😋. We really loved our stay at the Bank Guesthouse.
To be honest, I cannot think of anything

Breakfast was great, all cooked to our liking. Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast, juice and tea/coffee. Perfect. The owners were lovely and friendly. Offering suggestions when requested on eating out, places to visit and ways to travel.

Great position in the town. Great ambience and made to feel very
at home by our hosts. Very spacious and comfortable. Phil very happy to share his knowledge of nearby attractions. Cooked breakfast at the time you nominate is very handy. Good value.
Nothing - liked it all. Would definitely return. Good base from which to tour the region.

Breakfast was amazing, cooked to order with little touches of herbs picked fresh from the garden.
The hosts went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed.
The location is right in the town centre so you can walk to everything.
There was nothing that could have been improved.

Our host made a cooked breakfast for us.
When he realised that we had difficulty with stairs, he asked the other guests - who had not yet arrived - if they would change, which they did.
We did not realise that the steps would be so hard for us.

Great bed and spacious lounge. Very friendly owners.
We usually avoid stairs with luggage so we’re pleased to be downstairs.

We had the ensuite room, plenty of space & very comfortable bed. Liked the “old” ambiance of the property.

Beautifully maintained old bank building with numerous guest rooms. Two of the bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom.
Shared tv/reading area, dining and kitchen. Off street parking.
Phil & May are currently adding to the beautiful backyard/gardens with the vision of providing homegrown fruit & vegetables for guests. Will be a wonderful area to relax in. A lovely home cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs was supplied.
Centrally located in town, however was very quiet considering the location. Walking distances to restaurants.
Highly recommend for a stay that provides a personal touch.
The pillows were very high, however we had taken our own.
Having to share a bathroom (we didn't have to at this time)
