Welcoming helpful smiles, great base to chill at and explore from, hope to return soon.

Helpful friendly staff both at the bungalows and at the chill out restaurant for breakfast and all day as required. Helped organise anything we asked for, bike hires, horse taxis, boat taxis, glass bottomed boat snorkel trip which was toddler friendly, laundry etc. Really helpful and supportive of toddlers and challenges eg, seats on bikes, shallow pool. Good sized bungalow rooms with big bed and mosquito nett/ 4 poster, effective air con and fan, a fridge/freezer and big water dispenser, spacious bathroom and balcony.

No bedside light. Shower was just the high fixed head which wasn't working properly so went out in random directions and even the coldest was too hot for my toddler to use. The bidet hose kind of worked to wash him with but didn't quite reach and was hard not to power spray. For me the stones looked lovely and my toddler enjoyed playing with them, but were hard to believe were kept clean.

Amaizing place - 100% worthy and beautiful

The location is amazing, near the best beach (the only one we found without corals, at least this time of the year). The bungalow is super spacious (we are 2 adults, 1 kid and 1 baby), with room for us all plus baby crib, plus bags. All comfortable and staff super nice. It has a swimming pool for adults and and a space for kids (less deep). We rented bicycles at the reception with baby chair, and it was the best place to go around the island (that it is a dream after crowded Bali). The breakfast is at a near spot at the beach, walkable named “Chill out”, but super worthy and full of food. With bicycle was fast and I imagine that by walking would be ok too, since you can stay for the beach after. The spot has also beach chairs that you can use. It has barbecue that was our favorite spot to have dinner (some fish at the beach). As for the mosque, we heard a bit during the night, and I think you will hear it wherever you are on the island. I got used to it and I would choose this place all over again. It was 100% worthy.

I would recommend it.

The room was really comfortable. We were pleased with the extras - drinking water, both hot and cold, umbrellas. While it was a short walk to breakfast, it was very tasty. We also thought it was awesome to have access to the beach and chairs at Chill Out.

The pool could have been slightly cooler.

Great place on Gili Air.

The room was very spacious with a terrace. it was very clean. The pool has a shallow part which was great with our little daughter to play in. The accommodation is in a very quiet side street, yet close to the Main Street and Harbor (walkable) and you can reach anywhere else by foot or bike. The walk to breakfast in the morning was nice and they breakfast was very good.

Awesome gem of a place on Gili Air

We loved that the room catered so well to a small family. It was always exceptionally clean. The pool was awesome with a toddler too. Even though you walked/biked for breakfast, that wasn't an issue at all and the breakfast was great! All the staff were super lovely. Would stay here again if we came back to Gili Air.

The room was fine and we had a pleasant enough time, but it was very dark and a bit bleak

The breakfast, while a bit of a walk away, was great and huge! The bed was super comfortable, and I loved the free filter water refills.

The room was dark and to be honest a bit depressing as a result. The lights didn’t all work and we’re very cold strip style lights.

Everything was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served on the beach don’t let the short walk out you off as breakfast was amazing and the “chill out” where it’s served was fantastic

Quiet, relaxing and enjoyable.

Lovely staff. Nice and quiet pool area with a few sunbeds, a perfect place to relax on. Also, it is just a short walk to the ocean for nice snorkeling spots. If you want to explore the island you can rent bicycles easily on the hotel. The breakfast is served at another place by the ocean. But it was totally worth going there since the breakfast had everything - including nice coffee! You could also borrow the breakfast cafe’s sunbeds by the ocean during the day. The Wi-Fi was excellent and I could even have online meetings without a problem. Therefore this is also a nice place for digital nomads.

Beautiful gardens, friendly staff, refreshing pool, comfortable room

i really enjoyed everything about this property. The staff was very kind, my room was clean and comfortable, the garden was beautiful and the pool was nice. Bike rentals are available onsite, which was convenient. The breakfast was delicious served at the hotel’s other accommodations at ChillOut Cafe. I preferred the location of Gili Air Bungalow because it’s on a quiet road, and close enough to the island’s best beach and snorkeling spot.

A general comment about the island…the smoke from trash and vegetation burn piles can be intense. it really affected me with head aches and congestion, and I needed to retreat inside instead of enjoying the pool or patio. that is all over the island though, and not just this place. maybe the village can work on a solution and only burn specific days or times?

Superb

Very good room, clean, easy access, breakfast at the other property they have, on the beach front. Best breakfast we had so far in our travel in Indonesia. Friendly staff. P.s far from the mosque, very quiet location.

The property has a reception on ground and a larger reception on the beach property. The one here dont know very well English, but really want to help. The other one speak perfect English. Like any other hotel in the islend, low water pressure (it is how it is everywhere). Would recommend it to friends!!!

The bed was very comfortable. Staff was very helpful. They even went to get ice to a store one time I hit my head. Also, the beach is quite close to the hostel. However, if you are the sunbed type bare in mind that you have to walk around 10 minutes to the part of the beach where there you will find them.

Hot water was not working the first day. Also water pressure was very low. We had some dead ants in a corner of the room that they did not clean any of the three days we stayed there. Breaksfast is served on a restaurant at the beach (10-15 minute walk), knowing that before would have been better.

I like the friendliness of the staffs. They are all very accommodating. And love how quiet and intimate the bungalow is.

It's not that I dont like it. Its just more like a suggestion about considering putting lights in the pool at night as many people including us love using the pool to cool us down and it can get pretty dark at night. But overall we like all the facilities and the pool

Beautiful!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gili Air bungalows! We ended up spending more time at the hotel than anticipated as I fell ill and it was the perfect place to relax and recover. The pool area is beautiful and so relaxing. The bedroom was great with aircon and a beautiful outdoor/indoor bathroom. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast down the road at chill out bar was great. We also had dinner there a couple of times which was also excellent and the staff were wonderful. Location is a short walk to bars, restaurants and the beach (10 mins), slightly further walk to catch the sunset on the other side of the island (15 mins).

Perfect stay in Gili Air

The bungalow was big and clean. The swimming pool area was quiet and right like the pictures. The staff was great and really helpful (they organized our snorkeling tour and helped with laundry). Breakfast was exceptional and by the sea, you have to walk around 10 mins from the hotel.

Please note there is not hot water in the shower, and we didn't know this in advance. Anyway the water doesn't come out too cold and it's always warm weather.

- Very clean and very comfortable (Most comfortable bed/mattress we had so far in 3 weeks of travelling Indonesia) room - Free drinking water in the room - Nice outdoor bathroom - Outstanding breakfast

As one of a few rooms in the hotel, we only had a cold shower. However the hotel told us right after booking and it was not a big deal!

Gorgeous and relaxing holiday in these bungalows

We booked 2 bungalows for our family of 5. They were so comfortable and spacious. The pool was shaded within a beautiful garden and was perfect for our kids with a step all the way around. The location of the property was the perfect distance from the beach but set back enough to be quiet and tranquil. The receptionist organised great cheap pushbikes with kid seats for us so we could explore the island. But by far, the best part of this accomodation was the breakfast! It was in a beachfront cafe 5 mins from the bungalows. It was the most delicious food we’ve had. Thank you to all the staff who made our holiday great! We’ll be back!
