Una giornata a Marathi

Bel appartamento pulito con tutte le comodità dal forno microonde a la lavatrice.Situato vicino alla spiaggia principale.

Il giardino troppo invasivo che non permette un passaggio adeguato con valige.

Very good

Superb location by beach. There was a storm while we were there and the tavernas all closed. However our host prepared a lovely dish for us.

Very peaceful and relaxing

Loved being so close to the beach which allowed swimming before breakfast. Lovely view from balcony. Host Eleni was fantastic and gave us treats. We liked not having a cleaner every day so we could lie in if we wanted.

Great position, big spaces, friendly staff.

the apartment was not as clean as we expected. We found a big yellow spot and hairs on the sheets. the apartment was not easy to find

Wonderful position, with a wonderful sea and beach

The position of the apartment is really wonderful: the beach is right in front if the house, the sea vue is breath taking, the sand on the beach is so clean and shiny. There is a tavern right on the beach with very friendly people working there and, of course, very tasteful food. It is a place that is a little bit more isolated, shops being at around 7 km, in the nearest village. But this has its advantages: you can feel a little bit of a more authentical Cretan flavor. There is, for instance, a small church nearby that makes the entire experience more pleasant. The apartment is cosy, clean and the host expected us with some sweets that were very well received by the kids.

There is a problem with the doors (especially the bathroom door). Sometimes, we couldn't close it. It is something that can be fixed, so it may have been solved in the meantime.

Exceptional

The apartment is at an excellent location, it is spacious and has all the amenities you might need. It is literally 1min walking distance from the beach. "Kyria Eleni", out hostess, was wonderful, very generous with her treats and came to clean the apartment every few days bringing us every time something home baked. The baby cot was good size for a 2y toddler and the second room was large enough. Full size kitchen with large fridge, washing machine and microwave.Also lots of everyday things like coffee, olive oil, as alt pepper etc. Near the apartment os the excellent kantine/tavern of Rokos with great sea food. If you fancy a longer walk you can go to Sosorides which is a 15min walk to the other side of Marathi beach and taste some of the best souvlaki and steak in the area by Mr.Elias, both highly recommend.

We eventually had to go home....

The Ultimate Family Apartment for the Ultimate Cretan Beach Vacation

This apartment was the BEST decision I made for our trip to Crete! The apartment has everything you need! Literally everything from dish washing soap, laundry detergent to body wash. The beds are soooooo comfortable, and the pillows and sheets and towels smell amazing, everything was just heavenly. It has very fast internet, 3 TVs one in each room, huge kitchen and fridge, and of course we were right next to the BEST beach in Akrotiri! This is a hands down winner, and I would recommend this place to anyone considering a chill beach vacation with all the amenities. Literally amazing! NO need to go anywhere, Marathi beach is AMAZING! P.S. The wifi code for the beach bar in front called Roko is: rokos1974

Nothing! The only thing I could say was missing was a bigger drying rack for clothing on the front balcony would be great.

It was absolutely wonderful. Idyllic location on one of Crete’s most famous beaches and yet at the far end of the beach

I love the fact that the property was exactly as the photos showed. Idyllic location and wonderful spacious apartment. Mrs. Eleni was very hospitable and met all my requests with a smile.

I loved everything about the location the fact that it was quiet and peaceful. The only problem is due to the time of the year a lot of the restaurants were not open but that was not the property’s fault.

An excellent place for a beach holiday

Perfect location, right near the beach and a restaurant with excellent food and great staff. A comfortable and clean house, perfect for a family with children.

Few meters away from heaven

First, the apartment is located in just 20 seconds walk to the beach. We stayed with our 3 kids and they loved it! The house is very clean, and up to date with home appliances. The hostess, Eleni, was very kind and helpful with everything. Upon our arrival she was waiting for us and left us some local Raki and pies! Next to the house is located a tavern with excellent food, and few meters away another 2-3 taverns, everything you need for a perfect holidays. We will return back for sure!!

Everything was okay. Eleni took us to the supermarket and her husband even drove us once to the town. It's quiet and clean, perfect for people who wants to relax.
