Location and friendly staff
Uncomfortable/ saggy bed with noticeable sitting dents in bed. small ensuite with the toilet not working properly. When you wanted to boil kettle you had to switch TV off.
Nil instructions for TV also. The cold water tap also ran hot. Also advised that kitchen was closed for evening meal.

There is no breakfast but close is a hotel that serves one. We liked that its close to the coast and the „Main town“. The seaguls are very noisy the whole night, but its for shure not the hotels fault. In the morning we woke up because of loud delivery trucks. We liked that there is free parking in the whole area. Its a lovely small town and a well cleaned hotel.
The beds are from ancient times.

The room was easily accessible, and the price was fair for a cheap nights stay ,the room was clean and was what I expected

Good location within walking distance of all amenities, friendly staff, bed was comfortable and the tea and coffee making facitities were welcome. The apartment was clean and tidy.
Apartment was at the top of 3 flights of stairs, and looked out onto rooftops. There were a few items missing from the kitchen, such as a kitchen knife of any kind, and a chopping board, only one bowl in the cupboard. The en suite was very small, and the window in the bedroom was faulty. It could benefit form a coat of paint too. There was a fair amount of noise from the pub below at night, but Lack of parking was the biggest issue for us though

Cheap, clean room with good WIFI. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Big car park round corner. Central location for Stonehaven.
Had to enter bar to get keys which was full of local drunks who wouldn’t leave me alone. There was a hole in the wall and the toilet door could not close so felt uncomfortable having a shower which was a shame as it was very hot.

Booked a room but we didn’t expected to be on a top floor with long stairs to climb. No breakfast as B&B tv old room is ok but to dirty. Shower super small and dirty.
We stayed for 2 nights and when we asked for a fan as my wife has a panic attacks and fan is helping her, the staff went to the disabled toilet looking for a fab and then said nope. Ridiculous we will never stay there again.

Great value for money. Staff we super friendly. Bed and sofa were comfy and the room was lovely and warm.
Could do with a little T.L.C. No kitchen towel so we couldn't dry crockery. No knife in the kitchen. Walls between rooms quite think so we could hear the people in the next room.

Very close to the Sea, town centre and hiking trail to Dunnottar Castle. Friendly and very helpful staff, good bed and pillows, very clean.
Steep stairs, no elevator. Rooms are small, aweful shower (to be switched on/off outside the bathroom, then numbers to choose how warm or cold). Noise from a bar and pool table downstairs. I first had a room on the 2nd floor right above the bar - that was too loud for me. The very friendly staff then let me change to a room on the 3rd floor. That saved my stay.
I would recommend to ask for a room on the 3rd floor, it's quiet there (unless you've got loud neighbors, the walls seem to be very thin.)

it was well located, beautiful building, has its own bar with good food and vegan alternative, pet friendly and good value for money

they made an error on our booking, we were supposed to be booked for 2 night but they had us down for 1. When we checked in they said it was ok and they would sort the issue. The next day we came back to find all of our belongings thrown into a black plastic bag! Our toothbrushes were thrown in with dirty trainers along with clean clothes. I was so upset how it was handled. Clearly the staff do not communicate

The studio apartment was well provisioned and meant no further interaction was required....
Fully intend to stay again later this year
Bathroom due to its smallness had nowhere to hang towels but apart from that it was great accommodation like a home from home

The location was fantastic, it was I'm the heart of town and beside the beach. The linen was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. There was a restaurant and bar in the hotel and and fish and chips shop a minute away.
There was no heater in the room and no refrigerator or microwave
