The stay at Illariy Tampu exceeded my expectations. The owners are amazing - I was traveling alone and they helped me a lot. Breakfast was so good (Home made juice, fruit and coffee grown on the property!), there are beautiful plants everywhere, and both Oxapampa and Chontabamba are easily accessible.

The breakfast option was really good and the owner was really nice! Also the locations is really quiet and peaceful.
Its far from the main city (Oxapampa), you need to take a ride (around 10 soles). Also since its in the woods, the rooms need to be ventilated so it doesnt smell like dust or humidity. If you are allergic like me it can be a problem.
