We had a room that overlooked the hills and the wonderful lemon trees, it was so lovely. The coffee and breakfast was delicious, the dining room and the outside sitting area were lovely places to sit and eat! The view was amazing!
The road up to the farm is very steep, but that is the Amalfi coast!

We loved the location. The views were amazing and the hosts were excellent. The home cooked meals on the terrace were outstanding and we enjoyed the tour of the lemon groves.

When staying on the Amalfi Coast, as beautiful as it may be, it always comes with its set of challenges. With this accommodation, it was an absolutely perfect stay. Cetara was a place that fit the bill perfectly- it was just big enough to have plenty of places to go and areas to wander. This particular accommodation was in a location so perfectly placed, where you were able to savor a view so spectacular and wander grounds that were absolutely magical. Our room was within lemon groves, apricot trees, wild olives, figs... everything about it, just astounding. The room expertly done, being minimal but had aspects of tradition and modern elements expertly combined. We had our own small patio, perfect for an aperitivo along with a balcony wrapped in grapevines off the main room. Its location was a robust hike to town, about 20-25 minutes which can be a rarity when staying in Amalfi- access to town AND a killer view from above. Enter our host, Nicola, an elegant, warm, intelligent and kind gentleman who was a pleasure to speak with. He was communicative and helpful at every turn. Nicola ran the grounds along with managing the accommodation. We were lucky enough to be there on a night where the chef was available and took up his offer of dinner at the booking- INCREDIBLE! The menu was based on what he was able to grab from market to be the freshest and best for the day. It did NOT disappoint. Our breakfasts were always amazing, filled with wonderful pastries, jams, cheeses and cured meats. The breakfast room- another space so tastefully done which maintains the original layout of the location but with subtle modern touches. The onsite pool is bigger than it looks in the listing picture and was a wonderful are RARE amenity to bookings on the Amalfi coast. We also had an excellent outdoor space for a picnic lunch after a hungry visit to a local supermarket. I've found my magical place in Amalfi. I hope to return soon. Thank you Nicola!

Place far away from the crowded locations. Really silent located in the lemon tree garden.
Please read the bad reviews first and don't make my mistake!
Location really far away from the known places. Steep road with a single line accessible in both directions.
The owner was not available at all. We had problems contacting him to get the room. We have tried calling him, but no response. No one was there to get our room. The apartment is old furnished and has a bad smell.
Air conditioning was not working, even if outside were 36 degrees Celsius.
Breakfast was supposed to be at 8am, but nobody was there, the reception door was locked.

Beautiful location with a very nice view. The hotel is up in the mountains and it is quiet and peaceful. There is also a small pool.

The owner cooked an evening meal for us which was exceptional.
Breakfast was great.
For more than an overnight stay, it was rather out of the way, halfway up a hillside. When I booked,I got the impression that it was closer to local amenities. But, that's a minor issue, which wouldn't affect anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Lovely location and off road parking.
We upgraded as we thought it would include a private pool but the property only has one pool and in fact we just paid for a larger room. The pool was also full of children when we arrived so we had to wait for them to leave to use the facilities. Parking was down a very steep hill from the apartment.

The owner is a real character and very friendly. He is also the chef and makes whatever you want for dinner. And it was very good!
The octopus was beautiful.
It was a little difficult to get to, but that was mainly down to the Sat nav taking us the long way round. Google maps did the same.
It is well off the beaten track and half way up a hill.

The view.
Awful place, would rather have slept in the car. We had the so called 4 people family Room as nothing else was available when we booked although when there it was obvious 2 person rooms were empty.
The room was very, very basic and old fashioned. Bedding felt damp. We were eaten alive by mosquitos despite having swatted 50 or so on arrival, covered ourselves in repellent and sprayed the bed. Shower was mouldy and disgusting so we didn't even try it.
Grounds were overgrown and unkempt although the swimming pool looked ok. It is part of a working lemon farm which was interesting.
Never were checked in or introduced but assume it was the 'host' who turned up at breakfast, which in fairness was adequate. He didn't speak any English so it was impossible to complain or discuss the situation. Vastly overpriced and we were overcharged by 70€!. Complete waste of a lot of money which left a very bad taste. Don't ignore the bad reviews as we did, thinking it was just exceptionally fussy people!

Excellent view. The terraced orchards are great. It was quiet and peaceful and a fantastic place to get out of the hustle and bustle of the Amalfi coast. Breakfast was good and staff were great

This is one of those magical places where the ocean and the sky meet. Gorgeous relaxing B&B with great views, friendly host, and a decent breakfast. The best accommodation that we had on this trip. Highly recommend.

The location is exceptional, a short drive from Amalfi, just above the cliff.
Nicola was kind enough to offer beforehand to have supper at the site, knowing there's no open restaurant in the vicinity during the low season.
We had a warm welcoming
The room was larger than expected and very well equipped

great location
room was cold on arrival and owner turned off heating when we went out so had to re-heat room on second night. whilst the property is pet friendly, there is nowhere other than a steep single track road for dog walks. owners dog is nervous aggressive and twice attempted to bite me. other local dogs are territorial which made walking our dogs something of a lottery. not somewhere I would stay again.

beautiful view, property and very nice staff. we got an extremely nice homemade 3-course dinner with great local wines! it was an excellent dinner and very thoughtful of them to ask if we wanted to dine in. we could not have made it down the hill again in the rain and after dark.
A good climb up the mountain to get there. But that is the same everywhere on the Amalfi coast so you can’t fault it!

The views were breathtaking! The room set-up was very comfortable travelling with kids (6&7). They had the upstairs area for sleep and we stayed on the ground floor. Everyone slept really well. Breakfast was very big - many choices of sweet pastries & some cheese/ham. Nicola also offered grapes from the garden. Kids even got freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. Adults got coffee. On the first night we also had dinner there - a lot of food! It was 5 courses & of course wine. Important thing is that we had a car & without it I'm not sure how to get around.
The room had a funny smell - something like old cupboard with very old clothes. During the day we had window open but the smell didn't go away. Anyways it was not a blocker & we got used to it. The only thing I was missing that Nicola did not speak English that much as I was really hoping to here some local stories and ways of life :)

Beautiful place with great view over the see. Totally quiet. Nice pool and areas to sit and enjoy the location. Great breakfast and also optional to choose for a fantastic evening dinner.
Fairly isolated from other city, so need for own transportation (strongly recommended). Otherwise lots of (uphill) walking.

The view is beautiful from property, and the owners seemed nice. Although, we only briefly interacted with a young girl and a gentleman. Breakfast was nice, and they were accommodating to my gluten-free request for breakfast. There was a pool above ground there, but we didn't get a chance to swim.
It's a very difficult and inconvenient location. It says Cetara, but it's a good 10-15 minutes drive into the town to Cetara port. You can walk to town, but takes about 35-45 minutes, and you have no footpaths and have to walk on the main Amalfi road. The hills are extremely steep to get up to the accommodation. There was a third party shuttle/taxi service, but they didn't answer the phone, and sometimes took 30-45 minutes to answer on Whatsapp and then you would have to wait to get picked up. The property really needs to have their own shuttle that operates for their guests. It's too difficult to get around, as the property is quite high up in the hills up a long driveway. There are no shops or restaurants walking distance from the property, so getting food or going to eat was an effort. There is a restaurant there in the property, however, they charge 40 EURO per person for dinner, which was way out of our budget for food. It was our first time to the Amalfi Coast, and didn't know about the location. In hindsight, I would have booked accommodation closer to town, or in Salerno.

This place is a pure magic.
Tranquillity in a the highest level.. so much blue and green that fill your eyes and hearts.
Waking up to this view is something we will never forget. The little details in the room, in the dining room and out are just beautiful, and it seems that a real artist thought about everything.
Nicola was welcoming and kind, He is such a great person, and his team too! They took care of everything for us perfectly.
I really hope to visit there again in the future.
So- Stay there, and thank me later.

It was high up on the hillside. Fabulous views. Rooms were comfortable. We were given one room and as we had two dogs we asked to move to a bigger room which was agreed. Lovely quaint set up

Sopra il Limoneto was perfect! My daughter and I arrived in the evening were given a glass of fresh lemonade and then went for a swim in the pool with the most beautiful view of the sea. Our cottage was so comfortable and had French doors looking out onto the lemon farm and sea views. We had dinner there that night that was so delicious, the breakfast in the morning with cappuccinos. It was peaceful and so quiet, the property is amazing.

Beautiful space, and magnificent surrounding and view. Simona and Nickola are generous with information and great hostesses. Also we loved the personal esthetic touch in everything.
We wish to ourselves to come back on the future
