Very enjoyable

The location was right at the top of city and next to the University and a lot of other attractions which was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Tolle Lage nahe der Universität

Das Hotel liegt ideal gelegen um Coimbra zu Fuss zu entdecken. Mit Glück findet man einen Parkplatz nahe bei der Unterkunft. Eines der Zimmer hatte Fenster mit Sicht auf die Stadt und beide Zimmer waren geräumig und sauber.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in the Heart of Coimbra

This boutique hotel offers exceptional customer service and excellent facilities. The location is next to the university and historic centre and has a great view of the river and surroundings.

Very average at best ... this is not a 4* hotel. Totally overpriced for what one gets. Rooms are sparse .... no cupboard, no drawers ... very basic!

Bedroom is uncomfortable and basic.

Perfect spot for an enjoyable stay in Coimbra

Our room was huge!! And the bathroom was very nice, the bed quite comfortable. Lunch was superb. Outstanding location.

beautiful hotel

We only stayed one night but loved it. The hotel upgraded us from a double room to the Superior Apartment, which felt luxurious with so much space, high ceilings, multiple exposures drenched in sunlight. The hotel is located on the top of the hill, which makes it convenient to visit the university. The common areas are beautiful and modern, with a lot of outdoor areas.

Breakfast was nicely presented but I wish there were more food options. But not a dealbreaker, we had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel for Coimbra.

So ein unglaublich schönes Hotel.

Ich habe noch nie eine Bewertung abgegeben und möchte das hiermit tun, weil das Hotel auch 20 Sterne verdient hätte, wenn man sie vergeben dürfte. Die Lage gleich neben der Universidade ist sensationell, das Spektakulärste aber ist die feinfühlige Renovierung eines alten Hauses, in dem alte Elemente konserviert und perfekt mit moderner Einrichtung kombiniert wurden. Das Essen in dem schönen Restaurant war sehr köstlich. Sehr berührt haben mich die Bedtime Stories und die Zitate von Fernando Pessoa, die man zum Kaffee gereicht bekommen hat.

Die kalten Eierspeisen, aber das macht doch letztlich nichts.

Beautiful design hotel in historic building in proximity to the university.

Very thoughtfully designed place. Friendly and welcoming with attention to detail. Breakfast and dinner are also excellent.

Instalações muito agradáveis. Atendimento excelente. Cuidado com o cliente e gentileza na prestação do serviço. Recomendo por todas as razões: localização, conforto, estética do espaço, simpatia das pessoas que nos acolhem.

Algo que não está na disponibilidade do hotel. Reparação do ladrilho da rua, dado que o barulho do movimento dos carros é um bocadinho incomodativo.

Great location and staff

Great location. Dining facilities indoors and outdoors. Leisure area to sit outdoors. Shower was fantastic. Breakfast was good.

Hard boiled eggs were soft boiled. Dinner was a disappointment. Food arrived cold. Hotel treated us for one dessert as compensation.

Excellent stay

Hotel was excellent and the junior suite with views of the river and surrounds was lovely. Hotel was quiet and exceptionally located to the University. Very nice. Breakfast was excellent and dinner menu was good as well.

Un placer en todos los sentidos. ¡Cenad allí, merece la pena!

Todo excepcional: ubicación, vistas, limpieza, encanto... pero hay cosas que no se compran, como la simpatía, la amabilidad y las ganas de entender cualquier circunstancia del huésped y ayudarle. En eso, este hotel también tiene matrícula de honor. El restaurante es magnífico y a un precio muy ajustado para la calidad que ofrece. Nos encantará volver a alojarnos allí.

Clean and spacious

It is very close to the university, so a lot of the tourist attractions are nearby. The rooftop and our room had a great view of the city. Our room was clean and spacious.

It is definetely hard to park a car nearby. It is a hilly city full of narrow streets, and the hotel is on the top of a hill. We were lucky to have a parking spot in front of the hotel because we arrived on a sunday night, but we imagine that during weekdays (especially during daytime) it will be tough to park nearby.

A wonderful stay!

My teenage daughter and I shared a room at this hotel - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, and every part of our stay was just delightful. We were offered a welcome drink and snack, and then shown to our room. The room was beautiful and very thoughtfully designed, with great lighting (and a welcome note!). My daughter was very touched when 2 tiny cookies and a bed time story were delivered to the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the historical centre and the treasures of the University.

An unexpected gem in an historic location.

A great boutique hotel and the highlight of our tour of Portugal. Totally exceeded our expectations. Amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Obviously a well respected restaurant (be sure to book a table). Excellent breakfast included. Thoughtfully decorated, clean room with very comfortable bed and balcony. For us the location was fine.

If and when we stay again, we would book a larger room or studio. The room we had was fine for a short stay but a bit difficult with our large luggage. The location was close to the University, so high over the city with great view from the rooftop terrace but might not suite visitors preferring a more lively nightlife.

Brilliant

After a long journey ,the welcoming small Glass of port with à gentile friendly smile was very pleasant. Check in was easy. Friendly atmosphere I followed the recommendation of the very professional waitress (very bright young lady with very good English ) Food excellent I stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels around the world and paid a lot more. This is the top and will come back Patrice saiman

Cozy comfy ....perfect

Amazing stay in coimbra. Very pleased with the hotel, staff were so helpful and generous. We got an upgrade to a beautiful room with amazing views. Breakfast was simply delicious with a great spread. So worth it. Everything was modern, well kept and updated. There was parking for hotel guests which was key for us since we drove drove from Lisbon

Returning customers, definitely one of the best in coimbra, superb location, everything you need is walking distance away. the property is just stunning with good, large comfortable rooms. Breakfast was also good.

as we were comparing to our previous stay, the breakfast this time round was subpar, nevertheless was good!

Charming boutique hotel in the university area with an attractive interior design and lovely garden

The property is great, adjacent to the university, with a lovely restaurant overlooking a garden where you can eat or drink. The renovation was very well done, we liked the design a lot.
