Amazing location — so peaceful. The view from the Lake View private room was great and the toilet/shower was just across the hallway. A variety of tasty coffees on offer, as well as a paid-for breakfast (ordered 24 hours in advance). I stayed in the dorm room on my second night and although the room was quite small, it had lockers and the bed was soft/comfortable (towel included). The bathroom had communal soap/shampoo which was greatly appreciated.
Building walls/floor quite thin so noise travelled from all other parts of the building — not too bothersome, but had it been busier with other guests, it may have been too noisy. Breakfast, lunch and dinner had to be ordered 24 hours in advance and there was no reminder to do this, meaning you could turn up for one night and not be able to have dinner as you didn’t order it the night before (unless you remembered). Staff were kind and helpful but inflexible with taking late orders for these meals. Also, no air conditioning, but this wasn’t particularly necessary in December as it was much cooler in the evenings.

I love the view of the lake and how peaceful it is. The garden is lush with many variety of trees and plants. The staff is sweet and helpful!
Small details like the ceiling could be dusted or vaccuumed better but I don’t mind it overall

Cheap and good location next to the Tuyem Lam Lake and Pinhatt peak. Friendly and helpful staff.
We didn’t expect much as the stay was rather cheap. Still, we were pretty dissapointed.
You have no privacy as the rooms are all in one building only separated by glass sliding doors. The condition of the room was not like shown on the pictures. The shared toilet and shower were in poor condition. We decided to shorten our stay.

Very friendly staff
– The breakfasts and dinners (both added costs, both set each day but very varied across the course of a week) and hot / iced chocolates are world-class
– Great to have access to filtered water to top up our water bottles
– Nice to eat dinner with the other (usually quite young) guests; collegial atmosphere
– Gorgeous setting on the lake and easy access to the cable car, which was a really fun experience
The bathrooms are shared and could do with a bit of a deep clean / spruce-up
– Not the homestay’s fault, but local regulations mean you can’t swim in the lake (unless you’re quite sly about it!) and it doesn’t seem very easy to rent a kayak except as part of a tour
– The cable car is lovely but drops you off in the middle of nowhere – it’s a long walk or a short Grab ride to the centre of Dalat

The location and surrounding are superb. Since this's a conservancy; there are so many plants and it vibrates natural atmosphere. Quite peaceful and relaxing, great location for some offline time. The staffs and owner are super duper nice and helpful plus adorable cats and dogs. Adjacent to the place are alike homestays, coffee shops that also offers meals (quite delightful and delicious)
As about the homestay itself, it's dustier than I expected from what I saw online. Not dirty, more like old and not well kept. They look like lovely, cozy, wooden wilderness hut from outside the units (A+). The interiors look like they haven’t been occupied for quite some time. Beddings are pretty ok but the drapes, tapestries and futon beds feel as if dust will come flying if you bump into them.

An amazing location on the shore of the Tuyen Lam lake.
Super easy to access.
The main city center is a Grab away.
Relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. I stayed only two nights but highly recommend to book more if you're looking for a place to relax for a while.

The staff and volunteers made us feel like family with the delicious home cooked meals and advice on what to do. Peaceful location by the lake. We loved Chicken the dog!

The staff was mostly accommodating and provided tips. We loved how close to the lake it was and the pets. Some cafes and restos were nearby so no worries about food. The overall ambience is so chill, we could have stayed for one more night but only able to book two. We’d stay here again!

Wanted to eat at the hotel, but we didn't give enough notice so couldn't. Had to get grab taxis back into dalat as local restaurants were over priced and poorly rated. If you book, make sure you order dinner 24 hours in advance. We would loved to have relaxed more at the hotel, but couldn't.

Super chilled hostel on the lake. Not to far from the busy city but at the same time in a secluded and relaxed atmosphere. The travelers there would be working in a nice environment or giving a bit of time to calm down. It was a great break from the busyness!

We were directly "in" the lake from the views of our room! Very romantic and charming. The staff, location, and food were also excellent! Easy to rent a motorcycle right from the hotel too and there were excellent locations to drive or hike around!
It would be better if we could rent the same rooms but with their own private bathroom. It would be nicer too if they could offer canoes or kayaks to rent. Also, since it was very rustic, the door was very difficult to lock.

My sole purpose to stay at The Lake House Dalat is to shoot the lake. The staff are very friendly, they msg me when I accidentally left my lock when I checked out.
The place is suitable for people who are not fussy about amenities., The Lake House Dalat provides enough of that.
Best thing you can get there is the magnificent view of the lake.
Im not a fussy person, so its ok for me, but for some might not.

EVERYTHING! The amazing lake views, the dreamy common room with nice decoration, big windows to look at the lake, surrounded by plants inside and outside, the hammoks, the tables outside, the comfortable soft bed.... the staff, every single person working here and/or volunteering is soooo friendly and nice. The food they prepare here is yummy and varied, and they have free tea to serve yourself the whole day.
aaaaa such a good time here! I enjoyed every second of it :D
And I like that they have options for budget travelers (shared dorms, and private room), and bungalows for people wanting more comfort.

Location. The homestay is at the lake side, so the lake view is beautiful. It's also near the pathway up to the pagoda. It takes me around 5-7 minutes to go there. Top of the hill, I can sit on the bench to look at the lake, to enjoy the wind.

There was no bathroom in the rooms which we already knew but having this facility, the experience would be even better

Of course the view! the location is perfect for a relax time and connection with nature. Miss Uin, the owner, is amazing and she prepares everything with lots of love. The food was really natural and healthy! The homestay can connect us more than a resort!
I was happy with everything. Just in case for picky travellers: have in mind is in the middle of nature so you will find little animals everywhere. Not a problem for me but maybe other people won’t expect this.

Good location. No doubt, million dollar view.
Everything. We choose to stay here because of all the positive review. But on the contrary, in our honest opinion, the place is more for backpackers. we stayed in the boat house which more like a shack extended into the lake; but the interior was unacceptable - just ply wood walls and doors which are about to fall apart. The bedding and mattress were not properly cleaned; we even found 2 big cockroach in the room. Going to toilet was hassle. No private toilet pans must walk quite a distance in the dark to an open (on top) toilet next to common area (not sound proof). The serve very limited selection of vegan food; but there were few other restaurants next door.

The waterfront bungalow was incredible. Very simple but that is exactly what I needed, I loved waking up to the water out my window.
