Isola paradisiaca

La colazione sufficiente. Gli ultimi bungalow del seafood 2 hanno poca spiaggia e soprattutto poco curata .

La spiaggia ha ferri arrugginiti e paletti di cemento di una vecchia struttura che è stata demolita

Würde ich wieder buchen!

Hatten die Hütte direkt am Strand. Die Wellen waren nachts recht laut, was uns aber nicht gestört hat, sondern im Gegenteil, beruhigend war. Blick vom Bett direkt aufs Meer, wow! Die Lage ist toll, weil an dem Strandabschnitt nicht die Ausflugsboote gehalten haben. Somit war auch noch relativ viel Riff erhalten, was zwar das Schnorcheln schön macht, zum Schwimmen ist es aber nichts. Das Personal war freundlich und hat flexibel auf meine vegetarischen Sonderwünsche reagiert. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt.

Très bon séjour

La localisation sur la plage qui nous permettait d être au milieu et d’avoir tout à proximité. Légèrement éloigné de la zone très touristique.

Ein Besuch reicht

Die Abholung vom Flughafen und der Transfer auf die Insel war sehr gut organisiert. Die Lage des Bungalows mit Meerbick und direkt am Strand ist erwähnenswert. Schwimmen bei Ebbe nicht oder nur sehr eingeschränkt möglich. Badeschuhe sind angeraten. Das Essen im angeschlossenen Restaurant war in Ordnung.

Die Ausstattung des Bungalows war eine Zumutung. Keine Ablagemöglichkeiten, keine Tür zwischen Wohnraum und Toilette sondern nur ein kurzer Plastikvorhang. Die Restaurantpreise orientieren sich an Koh Lanta und Krabi und liegen mindestens 30% über jenen der Nachbarinseln.

Great location

The location and views were spectacular. Having hornbills in the tree just outside our window was so nice. The bed was large and comfortable. Really basic bungalow however it had everything you need.

The wifi was very poor from our bungalow and still patchy in common areas. Not the friendliest service we’ve received here in Thailand. The food in the restaurant was not to our liking,papaya salad had little flavour and spice. Even the boiled rice tasted odd.

Best Resort we have ever been to!

The best Resort on the island. Very nice people, good food, beautiful basic bungalow right on the beach. Amazing beach with clear water, and beautiful corals and fish.

AVOID THE PLACE AT ALL COSTS !

- the location is great because it’s close to the snorkelling areas - the hornbills are visiting every day around 6 pm

- the staff is very rude even though there were few customers - no internet access because apparently the router was broken and a technician had to come from another island - in the mean time the owner didn’t make any effort to make an arrangement with other resorts or bars nearby - the food is poor and expensive - only pineapple and watermelon for fruits at breakfast although there is a daily delivery from Koh Mook that could easily bring mangoes and bananas - ants everywhere in the room and the balcony

Primitive beach paradise

it’s 20m from the beach, hornbills in the trees, everything is quiet and peaceful. loved the terrace to sit at night and nice restaurants here and on the rest of the island. Nice snorkeling reef (beware of sea urchins) It’s a little paradise. but the huts are very primitive, it’s part of the experience. no air con and the electricity only works between 5 pm and 10 am. the people working here are so nice!

so many ants, we didnt care but if you do then it’s annoying

Amazing stay here! We loved our bungalow, simple, comfortable, cosy, everything we need! Just nature and the sea. People were very kind and sweet. Food was good. View was incredible. Very quiet. Perfect for us! A big thank you to the staff!

A great budget option for Koh Ngai

This hotel is one of the most affordable in Koh Ngai and located in the most beautiful beach, so overall it is a very good budget option to stay in the island. The comfort of the rooms is limited however. It is the best place to eat in the island, since it is very good and the kitchen is open all the time.

The toughest part of the trip to Koh Ngai was the arrival. Due to the low sea level when we arrived, the boat couldn't approach the beach and there was no one waiting for us (as happened in the other hotels) to help us with the luggage. So basically we had to carry our roll-on bags for about 50m above our heads on top of our backpacks to reach the hotel, and it was a bit annoying. We recommend letting them know in advance the time of arrival and especially arriving in the morning to avoid the low tide.

Perfect middle market accommodation.

Perfectly located on the islands beach. The restaurant is more than adequate and their is a friendly beach bar and small family run restaurant on site also.

Exceptional

We booked this place for 3 days and ended up staying for two weeks. Family run business, the staff is incredibly sweet and helpful. Restaurant's great. It's located on the nicest spot of the island, the reef is just 40m in front of the beach and it's good for snorkeling. All rooms have mosquito nets on the windows. Every night there's a nice breeze from the sea and we never needed to use the ac. A perfect place to relax and enjoy this beautiful island!

Third time back to this island . 2nd time at Seafood. my favourite place

location is AMAZING. Great friendly staff and restaurant has amazing food .Tasty and affordable. Very cute bar close by, owner is very friendly and speaks great English. Massage you can get right outside with a view of the ocean.

Very hard beds for us, would stay longer if beds were better. some upgrades are needed.

OK.

We arrived by boat in high winds and had our first night booked elsewhere. Rachan (sp?) went to our hotel and got help with our bags without knowing that we had booked with his place. Bungalow was clean and in a good location. AC and instant water heater worked well. Sons of one of the proprietors run a bar and restaurant flanking the AC bungalows. The restaurant (Chom View) was fantastic and much better than the main Koh Ngai Seafood one.

The bathroom is a huge step, more than a foot, down from the rest of the bungalow. This was concerning during the night. There were cockroaches in the bathroom that came out at night; our second and third nights we left the light on. The worst aspect of our visit was that the necessity of requesting service for the bungalow was not explained to us when we arrived--it was explained on our last day! Charge for snorkel trip was 500 pp, but according to the menu, with 7 people on the boat it should have been 350.

Another perfect stay

This was our second stay at Koh Ngai Seafood. We wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island. We took the opportunity to completely switch off for a few days, and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the place. The accommodation is very basic, but it's well priced for the island where everything is more expensive than elsewhere. It's the charm of Seafood that we love. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, and you just can't beat the setting with the beautiful sea views. The restaurant is also really good and it's just lovely to wake up surrounded by nature every day. We'll be back!

My only criticism would be the amount of plastic used in the rooms and restaurant. Metal or bamboo straws and water dispensers instead of plastic bottles would be much better for the environment. But there's nothing else to critique. Koh Ngai Seafood is perfect and we'll return again in the future! Thank you so much!!

a calm place to relax. would go there again!

perfect location to relax and get away from trouble. a calm and unique island. we had a bungalow and enjoyed a perfect stay. blue sea, good food, very nice! staff and great sunrises on the beach. we want to go there again

Location

I booked for a double room and they put me in quadruple one with cement floor and also cement walls in the bathroom (rough finish) very badly cleaned, no cover sheets, only some blankets. Poor Internet too. Out of the 5 bungalows with AC, there are only 2 with a double bed. Out of which, only one has a sea view, as advertised. The other 3 have 2 double beds. The one we were put in, was the only one not "renovated". It looks really sad and it should not be rented out. False info, pictures did not match with reality, they are from the only sea view AC bungalow with one double bed.

Great location with wonderful staff.

Right on the beach and the staff was friendly. The food came quickly and was affordable. The beach in front is sandy and clean. Beautiful island with amazing views.

No big complaints about the property. They could have had beach chairs for the guests. There was no hot water for showers. The kayaks could be cleaned.

Paradise at Koh Ngai Seafood!!

The most stunning little island paradise. We loved the laid back chill vibe of Koh Ngai Seafood and stayed in a bungalow. Very spacious and comfortable, where we could stare out to sea and the quintessential beautiful rocky islands just offshore. Easy short swim from our porch out to the reef to look at marine life! Great food, friendly and welcoming staff, and some jungle walks or up and down the beach for some light exploring. We saw hornbill birds, eagles, a monitor lizard, an owl!, frogs (one tried to hitch a ride home in my backpack, loads of hermit crabs...look up, down, and around for all the beauty. Keep in mind that electricity is off during the day, so charge up at night and get outside all day!! There are some (harmless) jellyfish that wash up in the morning, but are typically gone by midday so roam freely with snorkels! I swam at all hours in those crystal clear, irresistible waters. Best view ever. Will be back!
