It was perfect for us needing to stay night somewhere before going to Gili T. Few min walk to pier next morning was super convenient. Owners were super friendly and helpful and breakfast was nice too. They also provided driving service which I Would also recommend (well priced)

Great terrace (view in picture) 2nd floor room was great. Good AC. Little worn bathroom, but ok. Good breakfast, very friendly owner. Good choice for one night stay before fastboat to Gili T (very near the harbour).

Hard to find. No sheet cover. Noisy area, bring earplugs with you. Padangbai is worth for only one night stay.

Host was very friendly and it was walking distance from the port to catch Blue Water Express to Gili T early morning.

It’s next to a mosque. Loud prayers blares for hours during prayer time multiple times throughout the day. Having said that, it’s not specific to this property. You will hear it within the entire neighborhood, there are speakers installed for the entire community to hear.

It is a beautiful house in the traditional Balinese style and the hosts are great. You feel welcomed and well taken care of. The hostess will serve you a nice breakfast in the balcony that overlooks the sea. Room was clean and well maintained.

There is nothing that we didn't like. Just be a bit careful when going down the staircase as some steps are pretty steep.

We only stayed one night before our fastboat to Gili Air. However, we wish we had stayed more. The owners are so adorable and made us feel at home straight away. The room was huge, clean and comfortable. We so enjoyed the authentic homely stay. If you do stay at this bungalow, you can rent a scooter through the owners, who can also book fastboat tickets and pick you up from the airport. Padangbai itself exceeded our expectations as it's more than just a stopover port. If you have time, I'd recommend visiting Aura Spa and Blo Lagoon restaurant, along with Papa John Warung.

Room was large & spacious! Breakfast was ‘made with love’ with lots of options! The hosts were extremely hospitable & lovely..made my husband & myself very welcome! Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time at Bay view house. Liu and Wayan treated us like family and provided exceptional service to us. The rooms were great, the breakfast was delicious and the location was close to the beach and in the center of the city. I highly recommend booking a snorkelling tour with Wayan (cheaper prices than other ones in town, excellent experience) and also booking his service to take you through East Bali. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and a great great guide!

The bed was a bit hard if you prefer soft beds.

Friendly host and the room was very clean. We felt very looked after here. They helped arrange our transport for us also, and the breakfast was very nice!

Our light broke for a few hours and then came back on in the night, wasn't a major issue at all though, probably just needed a new bulb!

We only stayed for a night before heading to Gili but the place was absolutely fab! The room was huge and we had a little living area for breakfast and a balcony that goes almost the whole way around the room. The bed was sooo comfy and huge. The hosts are lovely and so helpful too

The stairs is v steep but it was fine for us.

Nice house, nice room, breakfast OK. The only thing is that you get a some kind of wool blanket in the bed and it is usually not washed after each guest I assume. If you are OK with that, I would recommend.

Great location with a view of Padang Bai. Close to the Fast Ferry to Gili Meno which was why I chose to stay at Bay View house.

Darta and his family were such lovely hosts, Brian (his son) picking us up from Ubud and welcoming us into their home! We stayed the night of the traditional welcome ceremony, and his wife let us borrow Balinese outfits so we could observe the cultural experience! Darta organised ferries to Gilli T and Nusa Lembongan for us! Really beautiful stay to support a small village before heading to the islands!

Very friendly and helpful hosts - made me feel like a familiy member. The house itself is a typical wonderful balinese family home. Great views from the top floor across Padangbai. A great breakfast and lots of good advice for my trip.
