Every single glowing review about this Riad is spot on! Impeccable service from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left! My husband, daughter and I stayed for 5 wonderful nights. First of all, the Riad is gorgeous! The design and decor are absolutely stunning. Every detail had style and purpose, and it was meticulously clean! The pool was warm and inviting, and we even took advantage of the spa and got massages in the private massage room. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the lovely rooftop almost every evening. It was perfection! The staff were all so kind and we felt so welcome and truly cared for. The two Armin’s were unbelievably helpful and did everything with kindness and a genuine smile. We never heard the word no. Anything you ask for, they respond, “whatever you like!” Mona served us breakfast everyday and she couldn’t have been sweeter. She even packed us a to go lunch when we left to head to the airport! The breakfast was a delicious spread of fruits, lavender yogurt, various Moroccan breads, jams and honey, and eggs any way you like. We only had dinner one night at the the Riad, but I wish we had planned for more. Laurent, the owner, made sure we had a spectacular 3 course meal. Laurent goes above and beyond for his guests. He organized our transfer from the airport and personally met us and the driver to help with our luggage and to guide us to the Riad, which was a very brief walk. He took the time to sit with us and go over a map and gave us great recommendations for restaurants, rooftops, sites to see, and more. He helped us organize a trip to the Agafay Desert and he even took our shoes sizes and gave us each a pair of Moroccan slippers. The location was perfect, close to the Bahia Palace and a 3 minute walk to some wonderful souks and restaurants. I’m so glad we stayed in this location, a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the Jemaa El Fna. Laurent and his staff made this trip a dream!

Laurent and Anne the proprietors were exceptionally friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to ask. The staff were also all very friendly and responsive. Beautifully decorated Riad, peaceful and calm, haven amongst the hustle and bustle of the city. Will definitely return. A restaurant facility would have been excellent for the evenings as I have no doubt it would be wonderful if Laurent and Anne added one.

Absolutely everything about the property was perfect! The attention to detail in the beautifully restored riad is amazing. The rooms, the rooftop, and all areas are beautiful and comfortable. The owners, Laurent and Anne are what truly make the place superb. From the moment you arrive, when you are greeted with tea and snacks, to your departure, they look after your every need. It is the best riad we have ever stayed at, and we would highly recommend it to everyone.

Riad Antara is a beautiful, charming and high-end riad managed by the nicest owners in the world – Laurent and Anne. A few years ago, the couple fell in love with Marrakesh and put their hearts and souls into designing and building the most exquisite, elegant and welcoming riad out there. The Riad is simply gorgeous - the patio, the rooms, the artwork, the beds, the showers, the elegant pool and resting room, the rooftop. This place is a labor of love. And the service… what a service! Laurent was personally managing every aspect of our stay. He and his team attended to all our needs with courtesy and smile from the moment we checked in and were greeted with Tea and quality pastries, to Laurent personally assisting us in managing our tour in Marrakesh including booking restaurants and rooftops and waiting for us at night to open the door and greet us again. We felt safe and with family. These were wonderful three days. We felt at home. Laurent, we would like to personally thank you for taking care of us and making us so welcome in your Riad. We would come again, and for sure send our good friends. Au revoir Laurent. And in Hebrew – Toda Raba (thank you very much).

Wow... there's so much to say about this place that I don't think there'd be enough space :) We came from another location in Marrakesh and the owner, Laurent had sent us a message with where we should tell the driver to drop us. Laurent was waiting for us in the place along with someone to carry our luggage in a typical wheelbarrow thing :) The hotel was only a street away from the parking, very very easy to find and very easy to walk to the main square. We were welcomed with some delicous tea but I won't tell you everything to not spoit the surprise when you get there.. anyways, Laurent took the time to explain where to go, best places to see, visit, eat and even shop (not the typical tourist shops but where to find true gems.. and not because he has a deal with the shopkeepers, just because he has great taste, which you'll recognise when you stay at the riad). Anyways, long story short - room was abselutely gorgeous, so was the bathroom, bath, shower, amazing bed and linnen, not to mention the delicous breakfast which is not a buffet. You can quietly sit and relax. We had asked for a dinner at our last evening and tbh didn't expect the feast we got.. it was abselutely delicious.. we got rain (I know.. rain!!!) on that day and were a bit worn out after a day of walking through the city.. so they lit a cosy fire to make it more special even.. and the meal was abselutly stunning.. Laurent made us a dessert - his specialty - it was truly amazing, classy, delicious and light! The tagine was to die for.. What else.. ah yes, he arranged for a brilliant guide - very last minute - as we wanted to find out more about the cultural scenes but didn't feel like doing that by ourselves.. on the morning of our departure, we had to get up early.. had told Laurent we'd just walk over to the parking and wait for the driver but Laurent accomanied us to make sure all was in order.. we couldn't have wished for a better stay and riad..

Everything was wonderful from the tasteful interiors to the amazing artwork prints. Most of all the kind and ever present owner Laurent and his team of wonderful staff. Oh! And the location was a easy stroll to the main souk area.

The pool is very small, the size of a jacuzzi. Breakfast is poor and not varied. The hotel manager is very inflexible about any changes. The price is high compared to other hotels in the same area where you can get a better quantity and quality of facilities. There is no value for money

Riad Antara is a paradise in the busy medina of Marrakesh. It is not only beautiful, quiet and very comfortable, but also feels like a second home due to the attention to detail and special commitment of Laurent to each of the guests, being a real host in the magic city of Marrakesh, We really enjoyed our stay, the room was spacious and beautiful, and the location is great too, being near the medina but also really close to the taxis and parking. Highly recommend the stay as a 5 star Marrakesh riad experience! Kudos to Laurent and the wonderful staff!

Nothing, we loved everything!

I visited Marrakesh in early July for 3 days. There is NO other riad that you should visit other than this one! If I could give 6 stars out of 5, I would. Our host, Laurent, was immaculate in demeanor and his approach to serving visitors. He is one of the few hosts that I can truly say goes above and beyond for his guests. When we arrived, we were greeted with food and tea, which was wonderful after a long trip. Although we paid for one room, we were shown a few options and he actually upgraded our room for free. The room itself was excellent - nice shower, great taste in artwork, a comfortable bed, and plenty of storage. Breakfast was complimentary and was great -- a variety of fruits, yogurt, eggs, breads, and other things. Service was spectacular - the staff was very available and made us a drink every night to enjoy on the rooftop when we returned from dinner. By far the most helpful thing that Laurent did was to map out a day plan for us to do for each day -- we had never been to the city and had not yet come up with plans, and he was great in giving us a list of things to do / see each day. We did not do any day trips, as we were only In Marrakesh for 3 days, but I am sure that he would be happy to set one up to the extent that we wanted to do one. If I return to Marrakesh, I will absolutely stay at this riad, and you should as well!

Laurent & Anne, the owners, were exceptional hosts. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed the level of service & commitment from all of their staff was just brilliant. We ordered a meal in the hotel for our first evening. What a treat it was! Royal Tagine cooked by Khadija and served to us on the rooftop by Amine, who always greeted us with a smile together with impeccable service. What a gem he is! Then we had Mouna who together with ‘Khadija in the kitchen’ served us the most delicious breakfasts which set us up for our days of exploration of the city. Laurent kindly arranged a private tour guide for a half day so we could get our bearings of the city and also hear some of its history. Latif, our guide, had tireless energy and a fantastic knowledge of the history of not only his own country but Europe too. Special mention to Fatima, Salima & Mohamed the trio who quietly went about their housekeeping & pool duties. In case you hadn’t gleaned by now - we were welcomed here. It was our first visit to Marrakech and based upon our stay here we hope one day to return
