Минус в том, что напрочь отсутствует шумоизоляция окон и от дороги и океана исходит очень большой шум, спать тяжело. Сам номер обставлен нормально, но мебель очень старая, постельное бельё в пятнах, в качестве одеял - Пляжные тряпичные полотенца, подушечки маленькие. Фена нет, холодильник общий на этаже. Мыла и туалетной бумаги тоже нет. Снимал на 2 ночи, но вторую ночь не остался

The location is right in front of the beach and a good surf spot for beginners. It is an economical place without luxuries for quiet people, who want to live next to the beach and have a relaxed life, it has a full kitchen and you can go to the supermarket and cook your food, eat, prepare your tea or coffee and interact with other people It has a living room, terrace, etc. You have very near another hotel where you can go also for swimming pool, yoga classes sometimes if u want. Above all, I would recommend it for long stays and for people who like a quiet life on the island. The family that runs it is very helpful and you can ask them for anything and they will get it for you.

The location Was perfect. Very close to Weligamma Beach Bay. Near The beach with a Nice view. A bit far from the restaurants during this season, but the owner has a Tuk-tuk and drove us to, a very cosy place with multiple restaurants. Room size is perfect, the rooms are clean. Very friendly owner and family

Perfect location if you're a surfer, directly across the road from the best surf area in Weligama. I extended my stay multiple times because of this. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants, supermarket etc. Very accommodating owners. Clean and tidy room with fan and everything you need and a communal kitchen.

The beach itself at Weligama is quite dirty with lots of rubbish. Obviously this is not the fault of the accommodation. The reliable surf made up for it for me and it was very easy to catch a bus or tuk tuk to the cleaner, nearby beach of Mirissa.

Good location right on the beach, close to amenities and bus stop opposite the property. We booked last minute at the property which they were able to accommodate and also accomodated us switching to an Air Conditioned room after we had checked in too. We're able to help us with all requests and allowed us to store our bags after check out. Room had air con with cold water shower, mosquito nets and there was a kitchen space available for cooking, which was something we have not been able to access in other Guest Houses.

Just to note, the Family are currently under going some building work on the property and so there is some building equipment and materials in the garden. The bathroom would have benefited from a wipe down, however we are aware that we asked to switch rooms with little notice after a last minute booking. Didn't get the offer of WiFi so unsure if available

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Rusara Guest House. It was conveniently located very close to the beach. One of the highlights of my stay was the balcony view of the beach across the road. It was truly breathtaking to wake up every morning and enjoy the scenic beauty right from my room. I stayed in an upstairs room and the layout of the room offered complete privacy, allowing me to relax and unwind in a peaceful environment. The room facilities were also commendable. The air conditioner worked efficiently, keeping the room cool even during the hot weather. The little kitchenette with a refrigerator, kettle, and gas stove was a pleasant surprise. It was a great addition for those who prefer some independence in preparing their own meals. The kitchenette was well-stocked with utensils, plates, pots, and pans, making it convenient for cooking. I must commend the staff for their excellent service. They were always willing to help out whenever needed, ensuring that guests had a comfortable stay. At the same time, they respected personal space and allowed for privacy, striking the perfect balance. Their friendly and accommodating nature added to the overall positive experience.

Stayed at Rusara with our two year old boy. The room we got was spacious with two beds and a lovely balcony. The family was hospitable and give you lots of privacy. The house is also situated very close to the beach and some good food shacks.

Very nice guesthouse with a very nice common area to relax ( sofas, chairs, tables and a nice little kitchen). The room was bright, big and very clean, I really enjoyed it. Wifi was working perfectly. And the owners are very sweet and adorable people. Highly recommended

The property and the family running it are great! Unfortunately, the place is located across the street from a beach shack that played/plays really loud music that vibrates the entire room like you’re in a club. I can’t speak for the other rooms, only the bottom outside room.

I had a room overlooking the ocean with a balcony and the room was large. The rooms are clean and the owners are really lovely people and very helpful.

Host is very friendly. I had an interesting discussions with him at evening time. Guest house is situated over the road from the beach. Quiet place with no mosquitoes. Room was clean. Big working table is good option for digital nomads.

I was warmly welcomed by the whole family, I highly recommend staying at Rusara Guest Home. It is clean, the room was spacious, there is a common kitchen that we can use, and it is close to the surfing spots. The owner was really helpful , from helping me opening coconuts to driving me to the train station. Thank you.

Spotless cleanliness. It was first that my friend and I noted when entered our room. Friendly, intelligent, helpful family. Host is also tuk tuk driver with very reasonable prices. So please don't hesitate to use his services. On ground floor lives owners, on 1st and 2nd floors are made rooms for guests. 1st floor has common kitchen, dinning area and terrace. We lived in two different rooms during our stay. First was small with small window to the garden, second spacious with view to the street and ocean and lots of air and light. If you plan to spend more time at the room than just sleeping, i'd suggest you to take bigger room and earplugs. If you travel solo and need a room for couple of nights, you can take smaller room. Guest house is safe, with locking gates by night. Location is ok. Walkable distance from bus station. It is just near main road, which gets busy early in the morning. Just opposite the road are fish market and fresh sea food restaurants, that opens on the sunsets. Catch opportunity to eat lots of best prawns by low prices. Surfing and swimming spots are lil bit too far to walk.
