Fantastic host, everything prepared perfectly.
The cottage and its location is so good that you can't dream of any better one.
Maura, the host, is super helpful, sweet and just a click away should you need any help from her.
If you looking for peace and quiet - this is THE place where you can find it!
In the kitchen you'll find all necessary utensils and even more - which doesn't happen very often. Learned on the experience we always take some of our must have staff but this time (for the first time) we didn't have to use them.
The cottage is super cosy. Just get the fireplace going, sit back, take the book and relax.
Again, peace and quiet, cosy, not a soul around to disturb your stay.
Highly recommend! 🍀💚
We liked everything.

Everything!! It's a beautiful location with fantastic views. The cottage is very quaint but also very comfortable. Lovely wood burning fire with endless supply of turf. Not far from the local town but far enough away from other houses so it feels very peaceful. Owner had the fire lit for us upon arrival which was a lovely touch and had a good supply of basics like cereal and milk.

Everything about the stay was perfect, every inconvenience was taken care of, specific directions were given in advance with the access code and upon arrival all the lights were switched on and a turf fire was burning, even though we arrived after 10pm. Inside there are addresses to local restaurants (Nancy's Barn was delicious), shops etc etc Even fresh milk, cereal and bread were provided.
The place is very spacious and well equipped and the views from the front of the property are stunning.
Nothing honestly, if I was to improve anything I would perhaps add a smart TV for Netflix etc in the evenings.

Lovely Lodge with everything you need for an enjoyable weekend. Lovely oven that easily heats the whole lodge, worst case there were coins remaining to activate the heating. A lot of space for 4 people just perfect! There were eggs, milk, butter and juice for breakfast provided for the first day, very very lovely.

Cosy and comfortable but plenty of room for the four of us. The fire was delightful in the evenings. Beautiful views in a quiet location but close to lots of attractions. We had 5 very full days with lots of activities.

The location was ideal for exploring the area and the cottage was set in a lovely rural location with beautiful views. Turf to light the fire was plentiful and we lit it every day despite that it was summer (slightly damp feel but nothing serious). My single bed was very comfortable but one of the doubles apparently was not great - personal preference perhaps. Everything was spotless and a useful information manual was provided. We made a prior request to bring our 2 small dogs which was met and this was a huge bonus for us. Maura was very communicative and available yet not at all invasive. We were lucky enough to stay an extra night when we requested it.
Mirrors on the walls in the house were too high for most of us (we aren't very tall) and I had to stand on tippy toes to do hair/makeup. The promised scones were not there which I didn't mind as I'm not a breakfast person. There were basics though - bread, butter (pity it wasn't real butter!), milk, tea/coffee etc. A curtain on the window would have been nice as there was a glare on the TV (long summer nights), not that we stayed in much! An additional ensuite would have been nice as there was only 1 bathroom for 5 of us but we managed. The electric shower was adequate, not great power in it and a lock on the bathroom door please!

Amazing cottage, stayed for two nights on the beginning of our Wild Atlantic Way road trip and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent standard. Such care and thought put into everything.

We had a lovely stay in this rural retreat. Cottage is very quaint and peaceful with lovely views of 5 finger strand. It was a great base for exploring the peninsula. And the resident sheep was a big hit! Maura was a great host and very available to us if we needed her. The welcome pack was also a lovely bonus!
Maybe the addition of a dishwasher :)
