Súper comfy and quiet room. Hosts are kind and helpful, breakfast served fresh plenty and on time. Town is small and so the place is close to everything, 30min drive to Cochem, 15 to Beilstein.
Wifi kind of on the slow side on the guesthouse building but we really did not care.

A lovely old building, with very friendly, pleasant owners. The father makes excellent wine, and the food was very good. It was good to be contacted before our stay to be offered a wine tasting.
The village isn't as picturesque as many on the Mosel, and the hotel is away from river. Being on the second floor, and they are very high floors, without a lift, was difficult for my wife who has great difficulty with stairs, but we hadn't asked for special consideration.

The location was great.
Not a good view from the room.

While being a hotel it seemed more like a B&B. The hosts were very friendly. There was no elevator. The room was on the smaller side as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. There was no safe or small refrigerator. There was an at best sporadic TV signal in our room so reception was limited to a few channels. The Internet connection was weak but fine for checking emails. Being an old building the floor was not level, but that’s to be expected. Parking was across the street in a small lot. The breakfast was adequate and had everything a typical European type breakfast has, but not quite the variety of larger hotels. We also ate dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and it was very good.

Nice quite place. Very friendly hosts. Typical German Breakfast I believe and it was very nice. Bread, Meat slices, Cheese, Cereals, Seasonal Fruits, Juices, Milk, Coffee, Tea. Service was really nice. They offered specials for the Kids.
A kettle to warm water would have been helpful. About 20 mins away from Cochem, but the village itself is really nice and medieval.

what a fantastic staycation at this beautiful hotel, amazing food and wine all at a reasonable price, Thomas and Silvia and the rest of the staff could not have made our group any more welcoming , can’t wait to return!
nothing negative whatsoever

When arriving at the hotel on my motorbike they offered a garage for overnight stay. Very nice quiet little village. What you pay good value for money.
The place is slightly dated and was on the top floor had to carry all the stuff up. Church Bells in the morning

What an amazing stay we had in this perfect boutique hotel in a pristine, cozy village along the Mosel. We were cycle-touring, and were met by the owners, who immediately offered us a garage to store our bicycles. We stayed in the guest house, rather than the main hotel (just across the small square), but the room was amazing and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the shared terrace and a great view of the rest of the village. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and the beds were just right. Our windows had metal rolling shutters, to shut out the light, although this wasn't strictly necessary. The village was so quiet that we didn't have any trouble sleeping.
The hotel restaurant serves delicious cuisine in a traditional wood-decor setting just oozing ambience. The wines we tried were delicious, from the hotel's own weingut. (These were so good, we returned a few days later with the car, to carry a case home.) After dinner, we were offered to take our wine out to the terrace and enjoy the lovely warm weather - the perfect end to a perfect day.
The owners, Thomas and Martina, were super-friendly, and happy to do anything to make our stay more enjoyable. My only regret was that we stayed only one night, but we will surely be back again before long.
I honestly can't think of a way to improve our experience.

A very friendly host who offered a very spacious triple room. The setting was cozy and authentic. The host offered a safe place for our bikes. Breakfast was calm and nice. Close to the Mosel in a pittoresque village.
