Aussie and Malaysian in Penang

The location was good and was close to food and the National Park hiking trail, starting point. The owner of the accommodation was friendly and helpful. Accommodation had nice fan and AC working, as well as hot water for shower, fridge, kettle, toaster, and small oven, which was great.

The place allowed mosquitoes to get inside, which could not be prevented, so it was a challenge to keep them away from us whilst sleeping. Nearby road out front, had motorbike traffic noise and kids playing at all hours, which made it a little uncomfortable and a noisy stay, just keep that in mind.

The room is not so big, but comfortable for 4p. Only 1 bathroom available, hot shower and water pressure satisfactorily functional.Take your turns 😊. It is exceptionally clean. If you're traveling with motorcycle, you can park your bike at the garage. The owner is very friendly.

Remember the parking garage.. it was built quite low, so watch your head.

Exceptional

J communicates well our stay. The owners are helpful and location of the lodge is slightly over 1km from Etopia Butterfly Park and Escape Theme Park. Food is available at main road not far away.

Water pressure at shower room is ot consistent, not a big issue though.

This homestay is near to Taman negara Pulau pinang and escape theme park.

Ms jay very nice & friendly. Easy to buy food and drink. On Monday, got pasar Malam. The food is delicious. 😊👍👍

very local, very authentic. Near the Nature park and local beach

We had a lovely local breakfast. The host was very friendly and we were very glat to have the hole house to ourself. It felt very homely and authentic

the water was leaking, making the hole bathroom very wet, but elsways the accumedation excceded our expectations

1. Room is big, clean and tidy 2. Host and hostess are very nice, hostess could speak English and Chinese 3. You need to tell host that you want to have breakfast in advance 4. TV is available

The room aircon is no service. We arrive on 3pm.and try to rest, but it was like inside oven. Downstairs oni have fan.. But the fan is can't open high-speed. The second floor aircon is hot. I cant sleep well at night. Very uncomfortable.

Not comfortable to sleep. Very hot. The air con the owner no service or check before we arrive. Then fan on 1at floor is low speed. How sleep on ground floor wit low fan..the first floor air con is hot. Very uncomfortable to sleep. Can't sleep well at night. Felt sorry for kids to sleep at this chalet. Owner should repair or service thier fan and aircon before guest arrives.

excellent libation for visiting the National Park

this is a great little place to stay for 2 people. comfortable bed upstairs, and sofa/kitchen and bathroom downstairs. Jay is a fantastic host and quickly responded to both my requests. The location is great - easy walking to the NP and also for the 101 bus for exploring along the coast.

the aircon in the bedroom is not the most efficient.

Nice place in a laid-back village away from the touristic resorts and very near to the national park. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious.

The air-conditioning is old and loud so it is difficult to sleep with it.

studio amidst quiet village

M’s place is a double-storey studio along a quiet neighbourhood. Studio is clean and comfortable for the three of us. It’s 5-minute walk to the National Park, close to Entopia and Escape. Eateries and tuck shops are within walking distance. The hosts, Jay and Zailan are helpful and friendly.

Excellent location - National Park, cosy and clean, idyllic and friendly host. Traditional and authentic local breakfast by Jay, and her helper. Wifi was provided and it was suffice to for over 7 devices.

Cute house

Tiny and cute house and yet facilities are adequate. The little chit chat through Whatsapp with owner of the chalet on places to eat was much appreciated.

Keep up the cleanliness and good work.

Breakfast was good. Thoe location was far but very easy to find, road condition was good. Balik Pulau very nice place. Clean too.

Time not enough to explore. Should stay more longer.
