Location was fantastic and the bathrooms were amazing! I'd definitely return!

We could have done with a bit more guidance on getting into the parking spot. Couldn't find the flat number at the start and ending up blocking the road. Single beds have big dips in them, feel like they would have been really comfy if they were flat like the double bed. And TV in the evening is very limited. Luckily I had brought a hdmi lead so we watched a dvd. No lead otherwise to use the player.

The location was excellent and couldn't have been bettered for a stay in Durham, with lovely riverside views. The beds and living room seating were all very comfortable and the heaters took off the March chill nice and quickly.

Neither the bathroom nor ensuite had working extractor fans, which made them steamy and damp. The ensuite had no bath mat and the floor of the shower and main room were slippery with no grab rails. It felt very unsafe. Also, the ensuite had nowhere to put toiletries while in the shower. This is just a small suggestion, but it would have been nice if there had been a pint of milk in the fridge - we arrived after a long journey and had to immediately go out to the shops before we could have a restorative cup of tea!

The apartment was in an excellent location, easy to get to by road and then park up and leave the car for the duration of our stay. The parking space was secure and close to our apartment. The key was exactly where it was described as being. Once inside, the kitchen was well appointed and the bathrooms very nice. There was plenty of space in the bedrooms for storage. The living and dining areas were a bonus and one of the reasons we had chosen this apartment for our stay. The temperature and ability to adjust it was great.

We arrived at the time arranged to find the apartment had not been cleaned or tidied. Thankfully the keys came with a letter containing telephone numbers for emergencies. A text was sent (as instructions requested) and a response received very quickly. The cleaners arrived about 20 minutes later. A broken down vehicle was given as the reason for the delay. We went out and came back to a very clean and tidy apartment. I think I was just as shocked by the state some people leave their holiday accommodation in as I was walking in to find it. The single beds were very soft and uncomfortable. Closer inspection suggests that at the very least the base units need replacing. Both of these beds had a foam topper and a thin cover over the mattress possibly as a way of making the beds more comfortable. They didn't work. I did not have a good nights sleep during my stay.
