Nice airy room with a balcony and view. Clean. Good shower. Good location near local restaurants. Staff arranged night bus to Hanoi with hotel pick up. Make sure in advance that the night staff know what the day staff have arranged. But we got there in the end. I would stay here again.

The location is easy to find. The room is quite clean. The staff is pleasant and nice.

Well, the hot water didn't work in the afternoon due to an ongoing construction nearby, so resulting in me showering with freezing cold water in the winter. Luckily, the weather in Dien Bien in winter is actually quite sunny and not that cold, so somehow I could still bear it. The room is quite small, and the elevator is slow.

Lo mejor fue la cama que era cómoda. La ubicación, que estaba en el centro.

Íbamos con ganas de tranquilidad y comodidad, resulta que a eso de las 1:30 am la habitación de al lado comenzó una fiesta (si, una fiesta) con mucho ruido, gritos, música fuerte y sobre todo bombonas de gas, que en estos lados es muy común que inflan globos para consumir aquel gas, los cuales iban explotando y generando demasiado ruido. Gente que entraba y salía continuamente de la habitación (501). Nosotros como pareja pensábamos que eso duraría muy poco pero la verdad es que duro hasta las 11am. No dormimos en toda la noche, y tuvimos la sensación de inseguridad, realmente una pesadilla! Además escuchábamos como el dueño o recepcionista iba a pedirles que bajaran el ruido pero aun así No sucedió. Lo más cómico es que pensábamos que eran personas adultas, pero en realidad eran jóvenes no más de 20 años, y el personal no fue capaz de hacer nada!!. Otro punto negativo, es que hicimos el servicio de lavandería, y resulta que al momento de irnos aun seguía mojada! La verdad es que nos resulta difícil creer lo que experimentamos pero es real. No nos ofrecieron nada, nisiquiera una disculpa!! A lo mejor tuvimos mala suerte y nos tocó el Día equivocado, pero evaluamos nuestra estadía.

The location was central to my needs, surrounded by tasty, inexpensive food and the historic sites I’d traveled so far to see. The experience was made exceptional by the young female receptionist whose communication was stellar and assisted me with getting a motorbike driver to tour the surrounding area and transportation to my next destination. Because of her efforts I was able to fully maximize my time in Dien Bien Phu and achieve far more than I could have on my own. The room was beautiful with an amazing view and the most comfortable bed and best bathroom I’ve yet encountered in Vietnam. My stay was thoroughly enjoyable and exceeded my expectations.

Everything about my stay was excellent—especially the receptionist who even walked me to my bus to make sure I got on safely. So sweet!
