Situated in Gisborne, this charming condo for R 2,561 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Beachfront Studio Unit with king-size bed and separate bathroom. Wainui beach with its white sand beach offers some of the best surf to be found in New Zealand. Walking, swimming and stand up paddle boarding are all part of the lifestyle. A short drive north to Makorori beach and then on up the coast to Pouawa and Tolaga Bay with it's legendry wharf or a walk to Cooks Cove for a swim. 6 kms back to Gisborne CBD with cycleway access part of the way. The harbour area boasts great eateries including Gisborne Wine Centre, The Works, The Wharf and Lone Star. Across the road from the Harbour area is the historic Blitz Surf Shop one of the first in New Zealand. The town beach has a great cycle and walkway linking beach and river. Kaiti Hill with its walking and fitness tracks and stunning view from the top is another attraction. Special conditions: We welcome quiet respectful guests to share our wonderful property and will go out of our way to make your stay great. The unit is best suited to couples. Unfortunately there is no disabled access as there are steps only. Stretcher available by arrangement for extra person but suited to couple. Extra charge applies if additional person agreed. Studio unit under hosts house. Views and positioned right on beach. Bathroom beautiful with plenty of products, towels and beach towels. Kitchen again with everything required to cook with. Comfy bedding, plenty of pillows. Bean bags and BBQ available. Outdoor shower to wash off sand and salt. Hosts welcoming and fun. Highly recommend for a couples stay.

Carnie and Ivan have created magic in the their ground-floor ocean-view suite under their beautiful home. We lived inside that magic for six nights and this hideway was the threshold for the magic waiting outside, through the trees, to the beach and beyond. I cannot over state what a couple's haven this is!

Unit was immaculate, had everything we needed with relevant information clearly presented. Great to be able to enjoy the sea from the outside platform as well as easy beach access. A brief visit from a kereru was a lovely bonus

Wonderful place for a couple to stay - right on a beautiful long beach with easy access to town. Carnie and Ivan are friendly and welcoming hosts and the studio is totally private, with every home comfort.

We visited Gisborne for the activities but the stay has been the major highlight. Weather was super friendly and we got to witness two majestic sunrises from the perfect adjoining Wainui beach. Those were super friendly and had great recommendations. Will definitely be our choice for staying if available next time we visit Gisborne.

We cannot fault this property and the owners, the only thing we would note is that be aware of a number of steps to the main property and a slope down to the bach.

Brilliant to be able to lie in bed and watch the sun rise over the sea! However there is no blackout curtains meaning at dawn the room is flooded with light and there are 5 separate electronic devices with on lights that light up the room all night, but that's just a personal irritation. Excellent access to the beach via steps, cycleway all the way into town😍
