Beautiful house, perfect for our family! We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location, great property. We enjoyed this great little house.

This bungalow was perfect for me and my husband. Very easy to find. Very clean and nicely decorated. It felt very homey and comfortable. The owner was awesome,sent instructions on getting in and was available if needed. I would stay here again. Loved it!!!

The house is nice; 2 bedrooms close to the oceanfront. Good place for a beach rental that’s not right on the beach, but close.

My family and I had such a wonderful stay here! The house was clean, in a safe location, and close everything. I would highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re visiting with kids.

The house and location were great for our family with young kids. We were able to walk to the beach and restaurants, and the house was great to relax at in between our excursions to the boardwalk area!

Easy process in renting this property. Owner responds in timely fashion. I would recommend this property . No hassles, comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen, nice yard , working bbq. Has all the things you need

This home was a good base for us as we visited family in Virginia Beach for a few days. On the plus side it was close to the beach and family. It's a super cute home with character and all the dishes you need if you are cooking there. On the downside we needed more linens. The towels were great but each bed had just one blanket. We had to borrow some from family. Also, the bed in the master bedroom is absolutely the loudest, most creaky bed that I have ever heard. The second bedroom was very comfortable - my MIL loved it.

Our family had a great time at this house. It was almost perfect. It was clean, spacious, and cozy. Everything you need is in the house. The only downside was that the mattresses were a little squeaky, even my son (9yo) said it squeaked when he toss and turned. It was fine for a few days, but I wouldn’t want them in my house 😂. The host was easy to get a hold of and was accomodating. We would come back.

We were in town to visit family and wanted to stay close to the beach since we love the boardwalk and have some favorite places down on the oceanfront. The Treasure Chest did not disappoint!!! Absolutely adorable and so comfortable. We were able to have some of the family over to visit while also being close to the beach for waking on the boardwalk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend it for others and will definitely be back!

My husband and I were visiting family and friends in Virginia Beach. The Treasure Chest Cottage was immaculate, had everything we needed and was in an ideal location! Only a little over 5 blocks to the boardwalk and within walking distance of restaurants and breweries. But yet, you felt like you were tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of Atlantic Ave. We would definitely return!

My family and I stayed for a week and had a great experience! The open floor plan of the house and the addition to the backyard was great for our two kids, along with the close proximity to walk to the beach and near by restaurants. We would definitely plan to stay here again!

Perfect location and size for a family of four. Home was clean and organized. We appreciated the use of the cooler, cart, and beach chairs. Owner communicated timely via text messages. Overall a great stay and recommend this home.

We picked this place because of the location, good parking/driveway, back porch dining table, grill and lounge area. The house was very clean and well maintained. We really liked the open concept. The owner provided the information the day of our arrival on codes/ information needed for our stay. The owner was quick to respond to our inquiries and was very helpful. The house was well stocked with towels and extras. It was nice he provided things for going to the beach - even though we did not use them. The kitchen has very basic needs for cooking but was adequate for our stay. We enjoyed going out on the front porch for coffee in the morning. It would be nice to have one more rocking chair out there and a small table for drinks. The bed was comfortable. New shower heads would be nice - but again they were adequate and not a deal breaker! We really liked the location. We were able to walk to the beach, the gym and Bad Ass Coffee! We would stay here again!

It was a great location and a great home for a weekend birthday celebration for my son who is stationed nearby at Norfolk. We were able to hang out in the backyard and play some corn hole and comfortable home to just cook and enjoy each other's company Thank you Jeff!

Right out of the gate I knew that this interaction would be challenging. But since we booked the trip a few days before departure there was no opportunity for a refund to change accommodations. I found it odd that after securing a payment of close to $1,000 the owner feels the need to conceal the location. I did not like not knowing where we were headed immediately upon paying the fee. Next, we have small kids and they are used to paying in the yard... clearly the landscaping for this property hasn't started for this season because the grass was high. The beds were uncomfortable. The high point of the stay was walking in to an immaculate unit. It was clean and smelled great! That was one helluva great impression. We obviously didn't go on vacation to watch TV, but it was nice coming back and watching NCAA's after the days activities. The two remote, input, source mess wasn't fun to deal with. And the internet was iffy. The thing that put me over the top with irritation was the sign on the wall in the kitchen telling "guests" to take the trash out and drag the container to the curb on trash day. SERIOUSLY?! This property owner charges nearly $300 for "cleaning" and has the gall to ask me to take out the trash and drag it to the curb. This is located in a city that we don't visit often. We'll absolutely look for other accommodations if we visit VA Beach again. There were aspects of the stay that were 5 star, but not enough to make me want to spend money with this owner again. My observations objectively. I wish him the best. I am a small business owner and property owner as well. I get it.

It was perfect for our weekend stay to see our daughter who is stationed in the area. Comfortable home that was easy to find. Kitchen was well stocked and the backyard was relaxing and private. I would stay here again if visiting the area. Thank you
