The location

The beds and bedding were old and tattered. No bedding at all for one of the beds. No extra blankets. We had to go buy some. The kitchen pots and pans were old and scratched and mismatched. The pool table had no pool cues so we couldn’t use it. There was only one small tv in the entire house. The house was in disrepair. Generally dirty.

The location 

I was not clean….bugs, it was Dirty the linen was dirty the floors was dirty the walls was dirty….the deck was dirty and all the games did not have all the parts to play any games.

no signs to show where it was, small TV and only one, pots and pans very cheap and small. down stairs toilet was stop up and the plunger was no good had to go buy one.

They had dishes for all the cooking we did.

The bed, hot tub didn't work and it's in a dry county meaning you can't buy any alcohol. the pool table could've been better and the hot tub didn't work.

The hot tub is shown in picture doesn't work said it was taken off the ammenities. Whirlpool tub downstairs didn't work. Told when booked we were on motorcycles driveway was horrible. Trash was full from last rental finally emptied 2 days before checkout. Not worth the money to far from town. I will never stay there again and will not recommend. Also roaches seen.

The hot tub was nice, and clean. The area of space was nice. Plenty of cookware in the kitchen.

The “roadway” was nearly impassable due to holes and dips in the gravel. There were dead flies throughout the residence. The worst experience, by far, was being without water for over 3 hours. I had to go through calling a third party twice to get this resolved, only to find out, what said party told me was inaccurate. The gentleman that showed up advising that he was the caretaker of the property explained that this was a known issue that he thought the owners resolved already. This trip was booked for my mother-in-law’s birthday/Mother’s Day weekend and not having water at the beginning of our first full day was definitely a downside. Also, having to go through a third party, be told inaccurate information, and then find out that the issue had been previously reported and not resolved was very disappointing.

We liked that the cabin was fairly new and was clean when we arrived. The view from the cabin was very nice. We liked having the convenience of plenty of bedrooms for the number of people we had on our mountain trip. Please take seriously the list of repairs that need to be made. It would have made this day much more enjoyable.

Not handicap assessable. No TV downstairs. Basement smelled like sewer. Vent fan over stove did not work, basement light flickered like a strobe light. It was very difficult for older couple to get up and down stairs with one hand rail. Gas grill had no gas and all knobs were turned on. We had planned an entire meal around grilling. Basement bath tub needs handicap rails or some mat in the tub to keep from being so slippery. Several people had written in the Guest book things that needed to be repaired. We left a list of things needing repair also. Please have owner of cabin read comments guest leave in order to receive an exceptional rating. Other than having these things repaired it was a beautiful cabin and very clean. The road getting to the cabin was very treacherous, but we realize we are in the mountains. God bless you!
