It was cold in the room. Only 1 electricity socket worked which makes it hard to charge 2-3 phones overnight.

Modern and welcoming B&B in the historic center

Spacious room, awesome bathroom, very good service (the owner picked us up at the station), breakfast on the rooftop. The bus station isn't far away from the B&B, you can take easily a bus to the temple valley or near the Scala des Turchi. I recommend !

Not much, perhaps having salt food for the breakfast.

Modern and clean room

Modern and good room, the breakfast was fine for me, but my partner does not eat sweets, so he had no options. The host helped us with parking which was perfect!

The property is in a very quiet and local part of town, which is not a problem, but can be a bit of a walk to the centre of lif ein Agrigento. It was fine for us as we only used it for a stop to the Valley of Temples

Came short of our expectations

We liked the price, and we liked that the owner recommended a very nice restaurant to us for dinner. If you are looking for an authentic Sicilian living experience, then stay here. You'll hear Sicilian workers families having dinner and chatting outside your window late into the night, and scooters zooming down the narrow streets into the early morning hours.

The hotel is not located in the best place in Agrigento. It's way up on the highest hill, in a worker's district with no possibility to get anywhere downtown unless you take a taxi, and frankly, had I been traveling alone, I would not have felt safe to walk the streets of the neighborhood. The house was nice from the outside, but our room was VERY plain and basic. Which would have been ok I guess, but there was not even a table to put things on, and the only small shelf in the room was hanging off the wall, broken. The window which led to the street was closed and shuttered, so the effect was entering a very cold, stark room without much comfort. The bathroom was nicer than the room. OK for one night stay if you're only looking for a cheap place to sleep, but not if you're looking for a nice romantic place with comfort.
