Location location! We loved having the bay just a step away and the beach a short walk down the road. The house was spacious and the outdoor shower was a plus!

On the positive side, I would rate the following as 5 stars: A, LOCATION - right on Bay, 10 minute walk to Ocean, parking is available at the Beach, 5-10 minute drive to stores and restaurants B, HOUSE SET UP - awesome outdoor deck with great view of Sunset. convenient cooking situation with outdoor grill and spacious kitchen. great open space downstairs. C, OWNER RESPONSIVENESS - excellent, always available and prompt On the less positive side: 1, the beds were uncomfortable 2, we had to bring our own linens and towels 3, deck was a bit worned down All in all we had an awesome family vacation staying here for a week!!

The house location is in a great part of LBI. The house is very quiet and spacious with big windows throughout, beautiful views facing the bay, and vast sunlight exposure. It is a great space to accommodate a family. This is why we chose this house. Our experience would have been better if there were comfortable mattresses. There were only spring mattresses, which were creaky, extremely hard, and very uncomfortable. We all had difficulty sleeping through the night. More comfortable beds and better kitchen dishware and supplies would have been greatly appreciated. The host is responsive and the check-in/check-out process was easy..

We were a group of extended family with several young kids. This was the perfect layout and amazing location for our stay. The owner was very helpful and responsive!

We really enjoyed our stay at Robin's house. It was clean, spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. The living room and deck furniture has been updated, which was a nice surprise as the pictures haven't been updated. We wish there was more shade on the deck, so we could stay outside in the afternoons. The sunsets are stunning. The location to the beach was great. Communications was easy, and Robin was quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our family gathering. Property has spectacular views of the bay off the back deck, enjoyable to sit and have drinks or coffee in the morning. Property could use some updating however most of our time was spent outside & at the beach so it didn’t matter. All in all great location & is on a cul de sac so it was perfect for our families which include 6 kids under age 8.

This is the perfect beach house if you… …enjoy beautiful views …like a responsive owner …like to clean upon arrival …want to spend 4 hrs of your vacation instructing the cleaning team what needs to be done …wear shoes on your feet when walking on the deck due to nails, rusty screws & peeling wood …don’t mind finding a moldy, unidentifiable substance in a ziploc bag in the cabinet above the fridge …don’t mind years of accumulated dust on the HVAC vents throughout & window sills …don’t mind shared bathroom doors that don’t latch …like seeing water inside from a leaking door & skylight …don’t mind VRBO telling you that this situation is your fault since you didn’t contact the owner or VRBO right away We are long time renters on LBI. The house where we stayed for 23 yrs is for sale. We used LBI VRBO last year to stay in a different house (already rented). We are used to immaculate houses, especially when paying premium prices. We understand that there is “wear & tear” in a house. The conditions we found were greater than this or an “oversight of the cleaning team” as stated by the owner. We checked in on a Fri, cleaned the fridge, silverware drawer & vacuumed trash from under beds in 1 of the bedrooms. There were many other issues that we chose to overlook. By Sunday we found the UMO (unidentified moldy object) & contacted the owner. We shared pictures we took for documentation to mainly protect ourselves as renters. The owner sent his cleaning “team” who spent 4 hours cleaning the house, addressing the many issues that we found (& continued to find after they left). We enjoyed our time with family, but are deeply disappointed in this house & VRBO especially with its assurances of “enhanced cleaning measures”. It would be great if VRBO would ask proof of the owners if a PROFESSIONAL cleaning team was used & offered a “certified clean” label for rentals. VRBO doesn’t support travelers. It is evident by the many phone calls & representatives with whom I have spoken that there are no clear procedures in place to help travelers in these situations. VRBO does NOT stand by its assurances of “enhanced cleaning procedures”. The ONLY way that I would use VRBO in the future would be if there were a professional property management team on site, i.e. time-share rental.We are not the owners. We are guests, paying a premium price for the less than premium conditions we experienced. On a positive note, renters after us enjoyed a clean house!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Loveladies. The house is located towards the end of the town of Loveladies, very close to Barnegat Light. We ventured into Barnegat Light a handful of times for the shopping and restaurants/bars. You are a block from the beach and have a great dock to enjoy the bay. The owner was very responsive and accommodating.

A few things, that led to my poor cleaning rating. I had to clean all of the counters and bathrooms (under the toilet seats were gross especially in the main floor bathrooms) when we arrived as they we not properly cleaned, the bbq was completely unusable.. my husband tried to clean it but when he lit it the grease from the bottom went up in flames and burned all of our hamburgers/ hotdogs. The air vents and ceiling fans needed cleaning. Also there were ants in the kitchen and bedroom areas. Overall the house was a bit disappointing for the amount that we paid. The location of the house was perfect but the cleaning needs improving.

A nice house in a great location, close to the ocean-side beach, a very nice waterfront patio on the bay side to enjoy sunsets.

The location of the house in ideal! On a private road with the perfect dock for sunset. Just a short walk to the beach and local tennis court as well. The beach is quiet and plenty of room to spread out. The lighthouse is a 15 minute or so drive as well. When we walked in, there was a hint of bleach smell which was appreciated given we stayed during COVID so we knew the cleaning crew disinfected. We brought Clorox wipes just in case, but didn't feel we had to use them. The deck was huge with lots of seating and a grill. The house itself was very spacious. The downstairs bedrooms were in decent condition. The master bedroom upstairs had a recently renovated bathroom with a private deck and views of the bay. The master bed was squeaky. Some of the pots/pans/dishwasher is a bit run down - so if you have something specific you want to use, I'd bring it in case. Otherwise, the house was stocked with what we needed. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay!

This home has a wonderful view of the bay. We had beautiful sunsets with soaring birds. The docks and other homes make for a wonderful setting. The home itself is in ok shape, with some older features. The kitchen is stocked with a decent selection. The deck furniture older. The master bedroom on the second floor matches the first-floor views and has an updated bathroom. The bed is a queen and squeaks a lot. The downstairs bedrooms are ok. Fine for kids. The owner was highly responsive and open to solving any problems. She was great. We had some issues with the HVAC on arrival, and she did everything she could to address. We did have some ants, but it’s sometimes hard not to at the beach. Overall, a beautiful view, a nice property and a great host.

We love staying at Robin’s home. It was our third year and the location is beautiful.

The house was comfortable and was just as described and pictured. The sunsets from the dock and back patio was exquisite.. My only suggestions would be for newer pots, some were a challenge to use and perhaps look into a better cleaning service. As a whole, it was a lovely experience.

Master bedroom great view bathroom recently remodeled, best room in the house. A king bed would make it five stars. The patio has plenty of lounge chairs, patio tables, needs a better umbrella the setting sun is intense out back, the bay and dock is a great escape for the kids after several days at the beach. The kitchen has all the utensils you need, plates bowls etc...large island and two dining tables can serve 12 at one time...the three bedrooms each have two well worn twin beds...the kids did not complain and a new queen pull out sofa bed in the living room..there is a loft...Japanese matt with two single mattresses in it good for over flow guests, AC and lighting was good..plenty of parking you are the last house on the street right on the bay. Great view somewhat encumbered by the cat tails growing at the waters edge...a lot to like about the house...would book it again. Can accommodate two adults and ten kids...wouldn’t put adults in any rooms except for the master on the second floor...it was perfect for our situation. Great little parking lot one block south no permit necessary. Super convenient to get to the beach.
