the location is very nice. We would have appreciated a little more information about towels,beach umbrellas and how the Cabanas had its own private access to the beach instead of using the front entrance and the street.

Not enough light in the room to read. Not being able to put toilet paper in the toilet was not nice.

Location was amazing.

The bathroom door was so warped and falling apart that we could not fully close it. The toilet did not flush very well and the antique plunger made more of a mess than help.

No wifi in rooms, charge you more if you don't pay in USD, 50usd deposit for key to safe, old mattresses

I’ve stayed here three times now - it’s location is superb and price is good. it’s right by the beach and a very short walk to town so you really dons need a lot of facilities. The Garden next door is excellent for breakfast and lunch too. It’s a little outdated but doesn’t really matter as you’ll spend all of your time outside other than to sleep

The location was about the only thing we liked and the reason we booked it despite the low review ranking.

One of the primary reasons we book this place was because it said it included the beach club. When we got there we found out that it indeed did not and they blamed it on booking.com. our air conditioner in the first room broke. They moved us to another room where the air conditioner was not working properly. Finally they moved us to a King suite upgrade which was a nice room and closer to the beach. There was zero Wi-Fi anywhere on the resort. Your advertise breakfast included but we were given no instructions on how to collect that and did not receive any breakfast. I will say the staff was kind and courteous in dealing with the problems that were arising but the management or ownership of the hotel does not care at all about their customers. They false advertise to get people there and the facilities are starting to get run down. The location was excellent and that is about the only good thing about the place other than a kind and courteous staff. The cleaning ladies were sloppy and did not clean the rooms properly Also they brought one fresh towel per day for two people in the room instead of two towels. There are no hand towels. I would never recommend this place and I would never stay there again. Upon my research I found other hotels on the water with roughly the same prices with much better reviews. This listing needs to be updated to say that it does not include the beach club which would have made all the other things tolerable considering it cost $900 peso per day for a couple for a beach club on the north beach. They have all the chairs and umbrellas to have a beach club but they rent them out to other places that charge 900 peso per couple. It was extremely overpriced based on that. If the beach club was included we would have easily overlooked all the other deficiencies that the place is abundant with.

Difficult to get in swimming pool for elderly people

Great location being right next to playa norte. As far as the positives go that's about where they end. Location is the only thing this resort has going for it.

The rooms were very loud and you could here everything. The rooms were very outdated and not as clean as we would have preferred. The shower head had so much mildew on it that it was almost unusable. Beds were very uncomfortable and small. Would not stay at this resort again.

Give breakfast a miss!

The feel and look of the hotel was charming. Location to the beach is great. Pool was fine. Our beds were very comfortable. There were restaurants and small cafes very close. For $ 157 to almost $200, we thought the rooms would be nicer. The young man at the front desk our last 2 days was great. The one that checked us in, not friendly at all.

Our room was very old and the first thing we saw was a very large dead cockroach in the bathroom, found another under our bed.. luckily also dead. Bathroom was so tiny and the toilet and shower barely worked. We were used to being on Isla Mujeres, so the fact that we had to put the toilet paper in the garbage did not surprise us. Just be aware if this would bother you.

The staff at the front desk are not friendly they are rude. The pool is dirty nobody cleans it there’s no filter it’s like swimming in someone’s dirty bath water. The pool chairs are broken. Do yourself a favour and pass . it’s cheap for a reason. Good luck
