A nice little hide away country inn overlooking salzburg city.

Nice location away from the city yet a short distance driving from it. Outdoor breakfast overlooking the city from the scenic hillside is an experience that will stay in our memory.

None. This is not a luxary hotel. If you set your expectation correctly, it is as close to perfect as it gets.

Die „Schöne Aussicht“ macht ihrem Namen alle Ehre, man hat einen tollen Blick auf Salzburg! Unsere Zimmer im 2. OG waren eher einfach ausgestattet, aber geräumig. Es gab ein gutes Frühstücksbüffet und auch das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen - insbesondere die hausgemachten Knödel! Die Zufahrtsstraße ist nur an einer Stelle schmal, aber da schützt ein Straßenspiegel vor Überraschungen. Für City-Besuche kann man das Auto getrost stehen lassen, die Taxipreise sind moderat. Auch für mehrtägige Aufenthalte - wir haben die Osterfestspiele besucht - eine Empfehlung!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem Personal und einer einmaligen Aussicht

Die Unterkunft hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht unser Zimmer war sehr modern und es gab ein gutes Frühstück

Das Bad war bereits älter der Wasserhahn ging manchmal sehr schwer auf.

Hotel familiar, com história e tradição e decoração bem tradicional. Muito acolhedor. Não é para quem procura design ou modernidade. O quarto é confortável, sem luxos, mas suficiente, muito limpo, cama e roupa de cama muito confortáveis. A vista para Salzburgo, para as montanhas e envolvente, são impagáveis. Sugiro jantar no restaurante. Muito bom! Lugar para se permanecer 2 dias e aproveitar. Vale a pena caminhar no prado que fica na frente.

Good service and nice city view. Easy for parking. The breakfast is fresh, and schnitzel in restaurants tests good!

The Wifi connection in the room is not good.

Majestic and relaxing, wonderful staff

Very nice view

Wonderful view from the place. Free parking on-site. Room was nice, baby crib for a small fee. Not a long journey by car to the city.

Room a bit noisy (air conditioning? ventilation? don't know...). Restaurant on-site a tiny bit pricey.

Great view from our rooms - nice location.

Breakfast was super! Very nice view from our room. Beds were okay. Easy to park your car.

That the restaurant was closed when we stayed there. No 24h service No water available in the room.

I walked to old town so took an hour give or take but the views are so pretty , I was very happy with the location and had a very comfortable stay. Very spacious room and bathroom. Fabulous breakfasts and lovely staff

Stunning scenery and a delicious dinner.

A lovely location if you want to get away from the bustle of Salzburg and yet still see the city with gorgeous mountain views. The staff were extremely helpful with my requests.

Nice property with average hospitality

location and View

Reception staff who checked us treated us as a second class and he started to give us instructions like it’s our first time to stay in a hotel. He gave us the worst room in the hotel despite having a baby and were unable to climb stairs with luggages.

Great Hotel for a night or two

The Hotel is called 'Beautiful View' for a reason: The view is absolutely stunning from the terrace area, and even our room was looking out onto the mountains and Salzburg. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, you could either sit inside or outside on the terrace. I particularly liked that you could fill a pot with coffee at the buffet to take to your table (usually holds about 4 cups). We did not even know at first that the hotel got a small spa area with a sauna, steam room and hot tub + (old school) massage deck chair, which were free of charge. We only had to inform the reception 30min in advance so the sauna could be switched on (we didn't use the other facilities). The sauna was small, but sufficient for 2 people. There were even some ceremonial essences and a bucket to pour over the stones which smelt amazing. The temperature was also really good (85-88C). Overall, a very relaxing experience especially because we had the place to ourselves.

We were told upon arrival that the hotel's restaurant was closed Wednesday and Thursday, which was a bit unexpected and meant we had to drive back into Salzburg to go for dinner.

Excellent location

We liked everything! We booked a room with balcony and view over the city. The view was breathtaking!! The room was clean and modern, bed was just perfect, we slept like babies. Breakfast was not very diverse, but it was enough. The restaurant was closed during our stay - tuesday to wednesday. Dining area was very cozy and inviting. The staff is friendly.

Exceptional

The size and of the room was great for our family. Breakfast was great and delicious. we enjoyed our time with kids in the backyard. Also there is room with some toys for kids they can play at night. Staff was friendly

Great view but paper thin walls ruined the stay.

Pros are: the view, the staff, the food.

Cons are paper thin walls, and no air-conditioning. Additionally the location although with a very fine view is hard to reach without a car. Which means you either pay for taxis from the city (12 - 15 Euro each time each way) or take a tough walk up-hill. But the the thin walls was the reason I'd not recommended. I don't need to hear other peoples TVs, or conversations, or walking around upstairs. It's a shame as the building is lovely and old and wooden but they installed thin partitions obvs to increase profits at our expense.
