Short Stay by seaside

Spacious and very clean room with spacious and very clean private bathroom with clean towels.Comfy bed.Very good location.

Having to ring number to book in( though this is only on a Monday due to restaurant being closed)

Location on the front, good.

We booked an evening meal and breakfast the next morning. Both were excellent. Staff were also really friendly and accommodating.

Room at the top so stairs were a problem, but we managed.

Absolutely fabulous location and value for money. Will stay again !

We stayed in room 1. The room far exceeded our expectations. When we walked in it was far bigger than expected and had a full kitchen, a dining table with chairs, a couch and a really decent sized TV . The room and bathroom was immaculately clean and there were plenty of towels and a couple of complimentary toiletries available. There was a kettle a hairdryer, iron, ironing board and plenty of complimentary tea and coffee sachets in the room. We thought we were just booking a bog standard hotel room so this came as a very pleasant surprise. You need to book breakfast each morning but quite honestly it was cheap as chips and absolutely delicious. Standard breakfast was £5 and to pretty much double up on most items the large breakfast was still only £7. Really good quality food. We didn’t try the lunch or evening meals because we were out and about but if the breakfast is anything to go by then I don’t think you can go far wrong. Location is excellent- right in front of the main promenade and almost in front of the Eric Morecambe statue so a really good central location with sea views from the room and dining room/bar. Staff are incredible. Very accommodating and polite and in talking to the owner, it was clear that she is so proud of her business and it shows in the standards that she and all of her staff uphold. All in all, we had a really lovely relaxing 3 day break and I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s complete value for money and The Crown would be my first choice of accommodation if I was to stay again in Morecambe.

Literally the only thing I could say that I didn’t like was that I would prefer a shower screen to a shower curtain, that said the shower was a really good size so it wasn’t that much of an issue. The only other thing was that the room needed much more wardrobe space. A proper rail inside the large cupboard and a decent set of drawers in there would make a big difference. I am only picking here by the way. I have only mentioned this because Booking.Com asks me to mention what could be improved! These are very very minor issues and did not detract from the quality of our stay .

Great - but brief - stay!

The young girl who checked us in, served our drinks,, served in the restaurant and generally seemed to do everything was wonderful! Real credit to the hotel. Room was good, shower was great, and food portions were very large! Also great location.

Shame that you have to pay for parking but there was a lot of parking very nearby.

Highly recommend

The rooms were perfect for us as a family group, clean and spacious Room 3 superb The staff could not have been more accommodating as here for a family wedding….sorting late arrivals due to train strike down to finding sellotape to help with rewrapping presents and letting us wait in the restaurant when closed

Middle of the road hotel ok for overnight stay.

burns in carpet, broken drawers, noises freezer in the kitchen under the room kept us all awake all night and to top it off breakfast was extra to the £76.50 for one night

Overall very good.

The hotel was very clean, the room facilities were very good including an excellent shower.

Perfect stop

The room had a nice view, as it is facing the bay. The decir is cozy and tasteful. The room was comfy, and there were some shower gel and shampoo miniatures in the bathroom.

Great room

The staff were very friendly and gave great tips on where to park. I wasn't expecting 2 separate bedrooms, but greatfully welcomed. The room was warm and cosy on arrival. The beds were very comfortable. Views from the window were lovely. I never ate in the restaurant, but I have rebooked again and will be eating next time. The food looked and smelt very nice when I was in the bar.

Morecombe's hidden gem.

The crown hotel is a hidden gem in Morecombe its cosy & chic the rooms are modern with everything you would need, the breakfast was extra but it didn't disappoint you got plenty, the owner & staff couldn't do enough for you, I asked to have a lower level room as my wife finds it hard to climb lots of stairs, which we got, we will definitely book this hotel when we're next in Morecombe.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

brilliant place to stay for the cost staff are very friendly and breakfast was delicious.

very welcoming staff great location clean and tidy. I would highly recommend for the price. breakfast was delicious and good value for money. 3 couples stayed in total and each one was very happy. Thank you for a lovely stay wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

A Superior 2 night Stay.

The Superior Double Room with sea view was Superior in every way. The breakfast and evening meal were very good. Janette the host is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and we will stay here again.
