Beautiful views, amazing breakfasts and perfect location to explore a town/area of Greece that we adore.

This was our 2nd time staying at Karalis and it did not disappoint. The property offers amazing sea and town views from the room/balcony and breakfast lounge and we loved our large, clean, comfortable and attractive room with spacious, modern shower. The staff were again warm and welcoming and very helpful if we had any questions or requests. The location is perfect: Right next to the fortress, within easy walking distance of several beaches/swimming spots and excellent restaurants, and easy drive to Voidkilla Beach (do not miss it!) and two other beautiful towns with castles/forts. Breakfasts were amazingly good and filling with a nice range of items in the buffet, excellent coffee/espresso and eggs/other items on request, with perfect friendly service from Spiros and the other wonderful young lady who’s name we shamefully have forgotten. There are also sun beds and a swimming spot at the property which were perfect for relaxing and/or a quick plunge to cool off.

Only that we had to leave one of our favorite properties and villages/towns in Greece.

Unique and special stay

You might at first glance think this hotel is dated...wait 24 hours - once you sit on your balcony literally overlooking the Ionian Sea , step off the ladder into the Ionian Sea, not have to fight for a front row beach chair /cabana, have a delicious omlette and extensive breakfast made by the chef on your rooftop balcony overlooking the vast view of the Ionian Sea , have a late afternoon drink at the "pool"bar on the top level of the hotel and glaze out at the expansive water view - you will forget about any small problems you might see with the hotel upon first glance ..a short wander into Pylos presents you with multiple restaurant choices. 4 amazing golf courses within a very short drive ...if you book for a week you will be wishing you booked for two!

Exceptional

In a fantastic location by the sea at the end of the Pylos village, this small hotel is one of the best places to stay in the Peloponnese. You have the impression you are in the water. Very nice and helpful staff, excellent breakfast on the top floor with stunning view. the beach on the rocks is also just great. A must!!

For such a beautiful and luxury place there are too many decoration mistakes that can almost spoil it. To mention a few, aluminium paper wrapped flower pots, plastic chairs and tables of the breakfast area, including the swing and a cheap version of a small carriage with a sign ‘flower garden’, are really a faux pas.

Spectacular view of the Pylos coast

Wonderful breakfast and very hospitable staff. Incredible view of the sea and shore just next to the hotel. We appreciated the water cooker and mini-fridge.

Quite exceptional

Everything was exceptional at the Karalis Beach. Setting was quite superb - the hotel is on a wonderful rocky outcrop on the edge of the town nestling under the old fort. The staff were wonderful, so professional, helpful and friendly. We had one of the junior suites (Room 301) and it was so worth it - spacious, fantastic balcony (with great furniture) and exceptional views from the top floor. Bed was very comfy too. Breakfast was fantastic and the breakfast room is so well equipped and tastefully furnished. Spiros and the other waiting staff were so attentive. We would thoroughly recommend the Karalis for a holiday and without doubt make sure you book a sea view room as the views and sunsets are exceptional. Final mention to Bella the dog who was always available for a treat or two. Will most definitely return.

A very comfortable and clean hotel in a beautiful location .

Amazing location with beautiful views from the rooms and the terrace where a delicious breakfast is served every morning . The staff were also very friendly and helpful . The rooms were very well equipped . Pylos town centre was only a short walk away and has some great restaurants .

A great place to stay with family, right on the edge of a lovely town all on the water. Wonderful.

The hotel is gorgeous and far exceeds the pictures. The view of the water from all of the rooms is outstanding. Breakfast on the top level is fantastic. The service is warm friendly and very attentive.

amazing location on the water with an excellent breakfast

the location was right on the ocean and the breakfast was amazing. it was also a close walk to the center and restaurants. there was a nice sandy area to sit and enjoy the ocean and or sunset.

the room was a little smaller and less renovated than the pictures advertised (room 201).

Exceptional hotel and can’t wait to return

Heavenly in every way - the stunning view, the lovely staff, the peaceful room, the incredible shower, the excellent balcony, the superb BREAKFAST, the little swimming and tanning terrace, the whole vibe of the place is utterly gorgeous.

Good breakfast, nice view from the hotel. Straight access to the sea from the hotel

The outside furniture was old and maintenance was lacking. The balcony door didn't close properly, but after we complained someone came to fix it. Additionally the shower had a curtain which wasn't comfortable.

Perfect stay in Pylos!

Location spectacular and we could swim right from the hotel in beautiful waters teeming with fish. Staff so friendly and welcoming and breakfast was superb with so many delicious options.

View from the room and at breakfast was amazing, the hotel is located directly at the sea. Friendly staff, great breakfast. We visited Karalis in the off season, it was very nice and quiet

there was no shower curtain, therefore everything in the bathroom gets wet

It was a shame that the bar was not open as it was not high season. it there were many nearby.

wonderful view, access to the sea (even if not recommended for very young children ) very nice sea bed, comfortable not too far from Pylos center and easy to Park small balcony with direct access to seaside good breakfast with wonderful vieux

rooms need refreshment, bathroom a bit small a bit expensive despite we have two rooms (family room, with direct access)

Absolutely amazing

Amazing views!! The hotel is charming and nicely decorated. The staff is very available and nice. You can enjoy a very good and varied breakfast with a gorgeous view. This hotel was just so peaceful. Location is great, everything is walkable.

Directly at the sea front with hotel terrace and access to the sea. Quite place but still close to the center. Wonderful service. Nothing to complain at all.

We found peace and relaxation here

You can’t get closer to the water. Very friendly staff and a closed pool bar doesn’t mean you can’t get a sundowner. The room (300, upper west corner) was comfortable, quiet, spacious and has a great view of. the Navarino Bay area. For dinner, it’s a 5 minute walk to all nearby restaurants.

Our daughter would have loved to have dinner there as well, since she liked it so much and didn’t want to leave for a minute
