Great value, great situation, great staff.

This property is old and a little faded but the location is great. Right on the beachfront so wonderful access to the beautiful surf beach and all the restaurants with live music, fireworks etc every day and night. The staff work very hard to keep it clean and in good condition.

It would really benefit from bathroom upgrades but then you would start to look at similar prices to other beachfront properties and this is right on Double Six beach corner.

Convenient, cheap and cheerful.

Great location and good size room. Felt safe in this location and security service at night

Pool not filled to top, very shallow. Needs repair. Bathrooms dirty - very tired. WiFi service very unreliable.

Comfortable, spacious room with good pool, close to shops, restaurants and right on the beach.

Pool was very good. Right near the beach at Legian. Plenty of places to eat and change money with competitive prices. ATMs just outside of the Hotel. Great music at the bars on the beach. Helpful and friendly staff. Massage and Spa available but we didn't try. Airconditioning in the room worked very well. Bed was comfortable. Room was made up every day and towels replaced. Basic tea/coffee facilities available. Small bar fridge available (empty). Nice porch outside to sit on and have coffee or fruit. Drying rack outside for swimming costumes. Gardens around the cottages were lovely and it felt like a tropical secluded spot. The room size was very good given the price and the bathroom was clean and spacious with a separate mirror and makeup mirror outside. The vanity basin was a good size. With ample space around the bowl and large mirror. Did have mixers for the hot/cold water and quite modern.

They didn't have an iron, ironing board, safe (for passports, money etc) nor spoons for stirring coffee (were provided on request very quickly). The bedside power outlets only worked when the bedside light switches were on. Inconsistent switches for room lighting - some were on the wall and 7 of them were on a bed side table including power for the TV and kettle outlets. As far as I could tell none of the cable TV channels had English speaking channels but some had subtitles. TV was an very old model with no HDMI input and event he cable box was using the yellow/red/white RCA style cables into the TV. Front door was sticky to open and one side of wardrobe cupboard door was loose and needed pushing back towards the hinges to close. Hot water took at least two minutes to get to the shower or vanity taps. Roadways to hotel very narrow for cars. Beachfront footpaths and walls to road under construction all the way to Kuta although good path to walk along the beach almost on the sand.

very friendly staff, exceptional service, crystal clear clean swimming pool with an adjoining shallow pool for small children, the rooms are surrounded by beautiful gardens

Old Bali

Location was awesome. Hotel is tired but the feeling of old Bali which we liked and for the price you pay happy enough. Big rooms and balcony. We had a good aircon.

Took a while for hot water to come through for the shower but it did. So hot anyway, a cool shower didn't matter too much. Water pressure a little light on. No tissues or face washers but they gave hand towels when asked and a 2nd pillow.

Loved the staff and location, disappointed with the state of the hotel.

The staff were great very friendly and helpful. The location was great, really close to the beach and nice restaurants.

The hotel needed some investment. The building was a bit run down and the pictures on the website didn’t reflect the actual condition of the hotel.

The location is great, but the road works around create chaos. But it's only temporary. So all good, beyond your control.

Great little local place to stay. Value for money

Staff were amazing, locations close to everything and the sound of the waves made it relaxing

Some little issues that were fixed straight away but nothing major.

The location

It is old and outdated. The room was not clean, dust and a hair tie behind the nightstand. Water stains on the bathroom mirror as well as the shower. The price was good but they just need to pay more attention to detail.

the toilet flush didn’t work, shower didn’t have any pressure at all. when someone from the stuff came to look for repair I missed money from my bag.

Location and staff were great

Hotel is very run down and needs a lot of TLC, leaking aircons, strained towels, dirty and mouldy shower, door handles falling off, dripping aircon pipes over electrical wires, leaking toilet, bees had made home in bathroom wall, pool ad a lot of broken tiles and was always dirty. The photos of hotel on all booking sites must be from 10+ years ago because hotel and accomodation doesn’t look like this, they should be updated as it is very miss leading. Not worth the money what we paid when we had friends who paid $40 a night, ours was more like staying in a tent and theirs was staying at the “Tal Mahal”

Disappointing

Very old facilities. Water leaked from toilet, swimming pool is not like the photos. Was clean but not clean enough, found spider webs next to towel rack.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were wonderful, which would make us think about returning.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was tasty and good value for money. The staff were lovely at the Hotel. Pool was nice. Wifi was poor.

Wifi was very average. We had to sign in all the time. It kept dropping out all the time.
