Nette Unterkunft für zwei Nächte

I only stayed for one night which was probably the max i would like to stay, I did not use the pool.

Comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very quiet.

Lots of bugs around. Very basic room decoration.

Really lovely stay, lovely people. Bed lumpy.

Pool was great, the people were lovely and the food was good. Pappadums by the pool with a beer are delicious.

My bed was pretty awful - my fault for not letting them know. I was sick and at that stage didn’t really care and was happy to have a bed to sleep on. The mattress slumped over to the side and when I looked under the bed, there was some polystyrene holding it up. I should have let them know but was too ill and just wanted to get on the plane and get home.

Lovely staff, great location, clean and comfortable!

Large bathroom and large comfortable bed, very clean and well kept. Very good location to main road with restaurants/beach etc. hotel manager (I think) very friendly and helpful, lovely man.

There was very little not to like but if I had to say something, maybe a more user friendly balcony and some more sunbeds in the sun.

Huone oli siisti ja ilmastoistin toimi moitteettomasti. Isäntä oli oikein mukava ja pyrki auttamaan parhaansa mukaan. Aamupala oli mainio ja uima-altaassa oli kiva käydä viilentymässä.

Beautiful little oasis in a busy town

The hotel is set back from the main road, in a peaceful area reached by a 5 minute walk down quiet shady lanes. The pool area is a welcome oasis after a hot day on the beach, it's mostly shaded and had enough seating for the number of guests using it. The bar and restaurant were good. A choice of decent wine is available at reasonable cost. Breakfast is generous, with either fruit juice or a large fruit plate, eggs cooked how you like them, lots of toast and a banana pancake. It's a lovely place to stay in Hikkaduwa, a well maintained property with professional staff.

The coffee was not great, but it improves if you let it settle. We had a budget room which was a bit basic, but it was cheap and value for money. I would book a better room if possible.

A perfect last stop on our tour of Hikkaduwa. Great facilities, great food and great hosts!

This location far exceeded our expectations. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were great, including a lovely pool. The breakfasts were fantastic and there was a good choice on the menu for other meals too. We were a group of 4, comprising 1 couple and 2 singles, and often ate together, but they kept our bills perfectly itemised. The locality was also excellent, set back a couple of hundred metres from the main road for quietness, but still within easy access of the shops, restaurants and the beach. The fish when snorkelling straight off the beach were amazing. They also offered other services that we did not need to use on this occasion, like money exchange, airport transfer, etc. I highly recommend Villa Red Lobster as a place to stay in Hikkaduwa and will definitely go again if I am in Hikkaduwa.

The only thing that I did not like was that I had to leave to go home !

Очень приятное место. Персонал приветливый, хорошее обслуживание. Сам хозяин целый день на месте. Всегда интересуется все ли ОК. Очень хороший завтрак : большая тарелка фруктов каждому или смузи, омлет или скрембл или яичница, блинчики с бананом и СИРОПОМ, кофе или чай, масло сливочное, тосты, джем. Я просила вместо блинчика варёное яйцо плюсом к омлету, так приносили и блинчик и яйцо. Очень понравился бассейн. На фото он выглядит не очень. Но там я поняла из-за чего. Плохо подобран цвет плитки, а сам басс очень приятный. Кровати в комнатах без этих дурацких грязных балдахинов как в других виллах. От комаров фумигатор в каждой комнате. По приложению вызывали тук тук и недорого ездили на другие пляжи. На вилле можно заказать обед и ужин, но нам не очень понравилось как готовят, поэтому ели в других местах. Вот что мне очень понравилось, в разных крыльях расположены кухни с посудой, чайником итд. Покупали продукты и готовили сами, так как мы были с маленьким ребёнком. А ему нужны супчики. Хороший холодильник был на кухне и газовая удобная плита. Виллу рекомендую, но сама Хиккадува не лучшее место для отдыха. Рядом магазины, рынок, кафешки.

Не понравилась дорога на пляж. По шоссе с жутким трафиком. Но идти минут 7 до пляжа с рыбками и местными. Нас было 4 взрослых и ребёнок. Переболели все. Вызывали врачей по страховке. Приезжали несколько раз с лекарством.

Great place to recover from an overnight flight, catch up with sleep and do some swimming.

Friendly hosts, great location, dinky pool, comfortable rooms. A very sound choice.

I preferred it before it expanded but I can hardly blame them for building on their success and it remains a great place to stay.

Pulizia, posizione e struttura sono ottime, ma a rendere migliore questo incantevole luogo sono i giovani proprietari che sono sempre pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Sono sempre con il sorriso come tutti i ragazzi che ci lavora disponibili e con il sorriso. Io ho prenotato anche un tour con loro assolutamente consigliato siamo stati tre giorni in tour ottimi hotel e ottima guida

La mejor opción si quieres algo más auténtico y un hotel con un trato más personal

La atención del dueño y del personal fue muy buena. Teníamos un vuelo muy tarde por la noche y nos dejaron usar las instalaciones e incluso nos facilitaron un habitación para ducharnos. Lo apreciamos mucho. La villa está muy bien cuidada y hay muy buen ambiente. Las habitaciones son modernas. El desayuno era muy completo, económico y fue servido muy rápidamente. Está muy cerca de la playa pero en una zona muy tranquila y no se escuchan ruidos por la noche.

Inicialmente pedimos la habitación económica pero por otro motivo nos tuvieron que cambiar a una habitación mejor. Apreciamos mucho también esa forma de solucionar las cosas. Sí recomiendo no reservar esa habitación (en la planta baja) porque es una habitación muy pequeña y un tanto oscura.

Great place to stay and forget your problems!

Villa is located in the centre of Hikkaduwa. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Shops and cafes everywhere around. Beautiful and clean swimming pool. Leafy and quiet territory. The cleanest rooms I’ve ever seen in Sri Lanka. Wi-fi, bar, private restaurant, AC, and super friendly staff!

It is better than I expected, had to stay more than I was planning to.

Замечательная вилла! Мы приехали в 7 утра, хозяин любезно предоставил нам 1 номер из 4-х забронированных намного раньше, чем предполагался заезд, чтобы мы оставили там наши вещи, предложил завтрак. Отличное расположение: в 5 минутах ходьбы до пляжа. Чистый бассейн с подсветкой, мы купались и утром и вечером. Очень хорошая кухня: в наше проживание были включены завтраки, но мы и ужинали в отеле, заказывали разные блюда, всё было вкусно, особенно рекомендую морскую большую тарелку на компанию👍🏻 За такую цену вилла просто шикарная!

Perfect location, lovely pool and nice rooms. Above all, the staff made this trip amazing for us. They were extremely friendly at all times. They even went out of their way to help us, as we spoke to them about trying to find a scale to weigh our luggage and they very kindly got one for hotel guests to use. They also made sure we had breakfast before our 7.30am train and even took us to the station. Can’t thank them enough! Amazing customer service.

The lodge was perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood but central to the main road. The family was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the room clean, big and comfortable. We would definitely recommend it!

if you're looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay near the beach, This is the place.

I recently stayed at the Red Villa Lobster Hotel for four nights and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The hosts were extremely friendly and took great care of us during our stay. We opted for a 2-bed apartment, which was spacious and clean. The view from the balcony was simply amazing, overlooking the pool area. The separate kitchenette provided just outside our door was well-stocked with basic cooking items. The breakfast at the hotel was really nice, and one day the host's wife even prepared breakfast for us to taste, which was an added touch of hospitality. The hotel is within walking distance to Hikkaduwa beach and all the staff working there were friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. The pool was perfect in size and cleanliness, and we enjoyed lounging by it during our stay. The host also arranged a bike for us to use for a couple of days, which allowed us to explore the area with ease. On the day of check-out, they also arranged a Tuk Tuk to take us to the railway station. Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay near the beach, with a touch of nature and tranquillity, the Red Villa Lobster Hotel is the perfect place to stay. I would rate my experience here a 10/10 and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hikkaduwa.

More than just a hotel

Red lobster has a lovely community vibe with ample communal kitchen areas, balconies and a lovely pool/ restaurant area. It's perfect for a short or longer stay and is set back from the main road up a very pretty little street that crosses the train tracks so it's very quiet. While laying at the pool you can see the occasional monkey on the roofs and parakeets and fruit bats in the evening.

Double check the AC and fans as a few may need a little attention but the staff are quick to check out problems.
