Friendly and helpful staff, environment quiet and tight security, kitchen was spontaneously, food was great, friendly chef
No microwave, I request fridge in my room when I come there's no fridge, no plates inside rooms, they don't charge linen regularly I didn't like the room with plank steps, few channels on tv

Set up was nice, food delicious, water very warm. Lady who attended us at the kitchen was friendly and welcoming.
The room I occupied, room 3 was damp, paint peeling off the wall. I could not breath well because of dampness.

Breakfast was fairly good. The lady at the restaurant (forgot her name) was helpful.
I checked in during loadshedding and the room did not have rechargable light.
Night shift security was on the phone all the time was assisting me to check-in.

Everything went so well. The rooms were bigger than I actually thought and so clean! The breakfast area felt like a little restaurant spot. Noluthando took solid care of me and always helped with a big smile! The location was also perfect for I had a lot of meetings at the Musgrove Mall during my time there.
Definitely coming back :)

Nothing
The property is in an unsafe area and had a group of men congregating outside it late at night. There was no generator for load shedding and in 5 min of arrival I was in total darkness. There was no reception besides a security to let me and didn’t know where my room key was. The cupboard floor was broken and mould was growing out. There was a musty smell and the carpets were very dirty. I left and paid for a proper hotel.

The staff was very friendly from the security guys to the lady who prepares breakfast
The fact that when we arrived it was pitch black the is no back up for loading shedding 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 we didn’t even get to change and do our make up for dinner because it was really dark

staff were helpful and courteous,
For the location near Musgrave Centre in a good area, I expected the facilities to be better...... it was generally neat but very basic. Coffee was cold, I had to request to have the kind lady in the kitchen to heat the cup every morning, and the Jacuzzi that would have been a stand-out offering in the room never worked.

Location. Staff friendly and efficient
First room had roaches, lack of charging facilities for mobile devices.

Nothing
The hotel was filthy and full of cockroaches. When we checked in our beds had stains on the bedding and our rooms were full of dead cockroaches. When we alerted management to it they did nothing. We did not stay as it was the dirtiest place we'd been to and checked out straight away. We require a full refund due to how poor the service and facilities were

Spa bath, comfortable bed, mirrors, lounge
Breakfast was limited and cold, load shedding disturbed our plans, you need to have generators for back up

The room I was allocated was grubby, dirty and was smelly.
On the morning of my departure there was no breakfast made or any staff. I waited until 07h20 but then I had to leave.

The breakfast was okay
I got to the hotel at 3pm and my room was not ready. There was a power outage in the area so i could not even make coffee after flying from Pretoria and waiting for transport at the airport and arriving at the hotel exhausted. I think guests need to be reimbursed partially because the establishment ought to have generators or alternate power source. The staff were professional but were unable to do anything to help guests. We were unable to charge our phones. It was very inonvenient.

The neighborhood is quiet and near a great shopping center. It is easy to get Uber/Bolt.
Breakfast ended a bit early for me but that’s because I usually only eat late mornings.

The room is big enough , The hotel is well located . The lady that serves breakfast of really nice and helpful. Security is tight. Bar fridge. extra blanket
Smelly carpet and couches , broken cupboards. I found a dead cockroach in the bath tub. If you check in late ( I was there around 6pm) don't bother ringing the bell none is there to answer , just knock on the gate , the security will open.

The shower in the room was amazing. Breakfast was lovely.

The little vanity pack is a nice addition that most places usually don't think of. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was also nice. Good reception of the Wifi while on the chair or on the bed. The aircon was so lovely, especially after a long hot day. There is a fridge in the room with some coffee and tea.
It is not a massive train smash, but the carpets and the couch had some stains on and one of the towels also had makeup stains (I don't wear makeup so it was not mine). I only stayed one day, so honestly cannot really complain. The wifi does not really pick up at the table though, which is a bit of a downer since I did want to work a little making it a bit difficult for me, but also not a massive train smash.

I enjoyed the breakfast every morning. I am happy to know it was not a scam. What you see is what you get. Above all, the parking was secured and our belongings were safe. We managed to take an hour walk around the area and the location is safe and central. Which is good because we were not fair from tourists attractions.
However, the bed was not comfortable, the pillows were flat. Which made my neck really sore. It would be good to constantly change the linen and decorating blankets plus pillows everyday. The issue of charging people for iron is not ideal.

The friendliness of the staff. Walking distance from Musgrave Centre. Loved the breakfast.
Carpet in the room needs a deep clean, hotel should invest in a carpet extraction machine or swapout to hardwood floors.

Not much
There were big rats running around, the room was moldy, curtains were dirty, room directly next to refuse bags where the rats were eating. The aircon didn't work. I requested to be moved to another room. This room was bigger and the aircon was working. The room was also moldy I had to spray it with my room spray, the curtains were filthy. The bathroom. was a nice size, however the bathroom cupboards are worn out and pealing off. Tiles are black but look dirty all the time even after cleaning. I did not eat my breakfast because of the rats. The pictures on the booking app are beautiful, however the place is dated and dirty now.
