Die Lage ist schön, ein schöner Pool, aber das ist auch schon alles.

Defekte Stecker, durchgesessene Sessel, Lampen ohne Steckdose in der Nähe, bzw. ohne Verlängerungsschnur, gammelige Töpfe etc. In allen anderen Ferienwohnungen, die wir bisher in Vence hatten, gab es zumindest ein funktionierende Kaffeemaschine, etwas Kaffee, Zucker, Salz, Pfeffer, Essig, Öl usw., hier war NICHTS davon. Der Heizkörper an der Wand wurde nur durch das Sofa vom abfallen gehalten. Überall Kabelverahu. Die Zimmerdecken sind derart schwingungsfreundlich, wenn die darüberliegende Wohnung belegt ist, hört und spürt man jeden Tritt, die Decke, alle Türen und Fenster vibrieren laut. Es waren Horrornächte ohne Schlaf! Die Ausstattung ist veraltet und zum Teil so gammelig, das es einen ekelt. Dazu viel zu teuer; ich würde diese Wohnung nicht mal für 200 Euro die Woche mieten!

La situation et l’aspect extérieur

Absences de protèges matelas et oreillers, draps housses usés et rapiécés, ventilateur cassé, armoire en mauvais état et portes coulissantes bloquées, fourmis dans le studio, télévision uniquement avec chaînes allemandes !!! Beaucoup d’escaliers pour accéder aux différents logements.

Fantastic swimming pool and terrace with great views over to the town of Vence and down the hills to the coast. The area was very quiet yet only a level 15 minute walk to the centre of Vence with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. From Nice airport it was a simple 45 minute bus journey to Vence with a Casino supermarket almost next to the bus stand. We walked to look at the art at Fondation Maeght in just over an hour but got an Uber back. Small kitchenette was equipped with all the essentials.

It was August so the temperature did not drop below 27 at night: aircon would have made this more bearable than a desk fan. The beds and bed linen were not great quality but we may not have noticed this so much if it was not so hot! We did not receive any information about location of keys to get in and there is no reception or telephone response so we had to use educated guesses to find the hidden keys.

Beautiful period house, very clean and spacious, good kitchen, great outdoor space and pool

The bathroom could do with updating. We had a problem with a leak in the wash hand basin, but once we had reported it, it was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Fabulous Art Nouveau house - one could feel its history in the beauty of it.

We received a very abrupt - (some might say rude) "welcome" from our hostess. 35Euro charge PER PERSON for towels & sheets - not found in our B.Com agreement? No washing machine -thought all apts had one.

The place is a gem! a charming atmosphere with stunning views of the mountains and sea, close to everything. We have enjoyed our stay tremendously. The host is friendly and very attentive.
