This apartment is perfectly located next the Acropolis. It was immaculately clean and had all of the convinces needed for a self-catering break. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful and his tips and recommendations were spot on.

This is such a gem! if it’s available and you’re coming to Athens, book it! The beds are comfortable, and the house is furnished thoughtfully and practically, and very clean. It is in a safe and ideal location where you can easily walk to the Acropolis, Syntagma square, Monistiraki flea market, Aeropolis road, delicious restaurants, and places to shop. The host, Andreas, will meet you and give you a complete run down of all the must see places and to do activities. Take his recommendations. We came with our 4 young kids and they thoroughly enjoyed everything too. We loved coming back to soak in the hot tub each night. There are games and art supplies. My kids felt right at home. Highly recommend. We would love to come back again.

This was the best accommodation my family and I have stayed at during our past 8 years traveling around Europe. Andreas was there to meet us upon arrival and show us around the apartment, took the time to show us how things worked, and also had a detailed guide on restaurants and recommendations around the area. The place was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. There were complimentary items in the fridge (amazing since we had kids with us) and also coffee and tea. I mean it when I say the room had everything we needed. It was luxurious and so close to everything. My kids (ages 12 & 13) raved about this place and wanted to rush back so we could hang out in the hot tub. The beds and pillows were comfortable so we had a great night's rest. Andreas also was amazing at keeping in contact with us both prior to arrival and during our stay. He also arranged our transport to and from the airport. I will definitely recommend this place to our friends who are planning to visit.

Our host Andreas really was the benchmark all other hosts should strive to be. His introduction to the local area, prepared maps and recommendations as well as the welcome items for our stay were beyond any other we have had.
The apartment is impeccable and location is perfect. The tub in the outside area was a lovely bonus after a busy day in the city.

Everything was beautiful, it was the most thoughtful, considered place I have ever stayed. Everything you could want or need was there. The photos undersell the size and beauty of the property. The host, Andreas, was so friendly and helpful. He gave great, personalised tips of everything nearby.

Perfectly situated steps from the Acropolis and with a huge variety of restaurants and shops within a few minutes walking distance. we are a family of five, and this property couldn’t have been more beautiful, clean, well stocked and serviced. Best of all, Andreas, the property owner/manager made us feel so welcome and attended to our every need - he went above and beyond the call of duty. 5 star accommodations!! Can’t wait to come back!

The apartment is stylish, roomy and very comfortable. We were Father and Daughter, and we each had our own double bedroom and bathroom - one en suite and one across the hall. The kitchen / living / study area is spacious and well laid out. There would be plenty of room for a full family or two couples.
The facilities are great: a well equipped kitchen (with a fridge pre-stocked with milk, butter etc and even a welcoming bottle of wine), a large television with free Netflix if you fancy a night in, and the piece de resistance- a little courtyard with sitting area, shady orange trees and a wonderful hot tub for restoring tired limbs after a tough day sightseeing.
On top of all that the location literally could not be better (assuming your primary interest is Classical Athens). You walk out of the front door, turn right, walk about thirty paces and you are at the base of the Acropolis with the museum to the right, the main entrance to the Acropolis to the left and the Theatre of Herodes Atticus right in front of you.
For location I cannot believe there is anywhere better to stay in Athens.
But what really makes your visit special is the welcome you receive from Andreas the host. He was there to welcome us and show us round, he offered us a drink and then sat us down, asked what we especially wanted to see and do, and gave us excellent advice about where best to start, what to see in what order, and how to make the most of our time. His advice was spot on every time and we quickly learned to follow it to the letter. He also provided us with a list of local restaurants, bars, shops etc and booked us a table for the first night at Strofi, just round the corner with excellent food and a fantastic view of the Parthenon lit up at night. We went there twice. After that, Andreas was discreetly on hand if we needed help or advice without being in any way intrusive. He is a truly charming host.

Everything! The apartment was beautiful, in a perfect location and our host was SO helpful. Andreas went over and above-with items in our fridge and wine for us to start our vacation. The hot tub was wonderful for my husband, especially after walking the amount we did. The apartment was central to so much of what we wanted to see in Greece and walking was easy! We didn't eat in much, but there was anything and everything in the kitchen if you did want to cook. There was a desk for my husband to take the work meetings he absolutely had to (WIFI was great!) and a printer for us to print out our required paperwork for when we had to leave.
Absolutely nothing! This was by-far one of the nicest accommodation set ups that we have ever stayed in.

Everything! The most accurate, careful, polite, friendly, helpful, kind host ever! Andreas was very helpful even prior to our arrival with tips about the most specific needs and requests we had, and we had a lot of them. He did a thorough research and spent time to answer all the questions and find out what, when and where to be/do/see, following all the COVID regulations. He scheduled time to call with us on several occasions. We had the smoothest pick up at the airport and welcome at the residence. We were given a customised map with the most interesting and needed places, in addition to welcoming refreshments, and toiletries. Andreas who is very attentive, gave our daughter a cute and thoughtful gift which she loved very much. He made sure to check with us if we needed something but also gave us enough privacy.
The residence itself is amazing, great location, just a short walk away from the Acropolis museum, looking at the acropolis, used to be owned by a famous Greek painter, new, modern, spacious, with a hot tub which we enjoyed a lot. We were tempted to stay in due to all the luxury and facilities but had to do the touristy things which we also loved. The rooms, beds and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. There is Netflix but who needs it when there is so much more to enjoy?!
Our host Andreas who is very careful and attentive, understood us, and that is why his tips for restaurants and things to do, did not disappoint, on the contrary.
We cannot recommend enough this amazing place and needles to say that if we go back to Athens, which we hope, we know where we will stay. Thank you Andreas and family!

When I saw this property listed as nearly 10/10 on Booking.com, I was sure it couldn't be authentic and that there must be some sort of catch involved. I can assure anyone reviewing this property that there was absolutely no such issue. The property was pristine, tasteful, and stunning, every need was anticipated, met or more, and the apartment itself was an oasis of comfort on the doorstep of the city's most beautiful offerings. The Acropolis and Odeon of Herodes is truly a stone's throw away, and despite the hustle and bustle of its surroundings the apartment itself remains quiet, peaceful and entirely private. When we fell upon a series of unfortunate events, Andreas was no less than our personal British Embassy; he responded to every single phone call and desperate text with advice and an immediate action plan. His help was invaluable and single-handedly rescued our trip. Had we not had his support, I am sure we would have been at a complete loss! Despite our troubles he was gracious and immensely helpful, and we could not be any more grateful to have such a knowledgable and kind host to help steer our way. The attention to detail was outstanding - the hot tub was ready and heated for our marathon runners to jump into after the race, locks were installed especially when we enquired before booking - and I am certain that anyone who books this property will not be disappointed. The SV Acropolis was truly the gem of our trip. I would persuade anyone and everyone to book here. You will have everything you need and more, and I am certain you would be hard-pressed to find any other property to match this level of care and execution. Thank you so much once again Andreas!! We hope your business continues to flourish.
Our only regret is that we couldn't stay in this beautiful apartment for longer! There was absolutely nothing else not to like. I would challenge anyone staying here to find a single flaw, I am sure it would be impossible.

This property is immaculately clean,well appointed, & beautifully decorated. Having a hot tub on the courtyard for relaxation after days of walking was a fantastic bonus. Confirmable beds, linens & towels. Short walk to the Acropolis, night life, restaurants, etc.

Our stay was just perfect. The apartment, in the former home of a famous Greek painter, is large, in perfect shape (recently renovated), completely equipped, and is just beautifully decorated. Bonus points for the jacuzzi which we used extensively :) The apartment is situated in centtral Athens in the Koukaki neighbourhood, right next to the Acropolis and close to many bars and restaurants, but in a small and quiet street. Our host Andreas was very helpful: he gave us a lot of tips on what to do in and around Athens (including giving us a self-made guide), was super responsive to our questions and arranged transport from and to the airport for us. We will be back!

The apartment is exactly as seen in the photos, spotless, tastefully decorated, in a quiet area, close to the metro, and the host, Andreas, couldn’t be more welcoming. BEST HOST EVER!!!! Seriously- Andreas was AMAZING! He helped arrange pickup at airport, drop off at port for ferry travel, told us where to go, what do, how to get around. All his recommendations were spot on! Plus, the apartment is so cute! Lovely terrace (w/ hot tub area) to drink coffee in morning or wine at night. There’s even some complimentary food and drinks in the fridge. Easy walking distance to Plaka, Psirri, Monastariki, Acropolis, museums, restaurants, etc. I just wish we would’ve had more time here.

The arrival was great, the warm welcome from Andreas was exceptional - he explained us everything about the area and general Do's and Dont's in the city - which was priceless! He helped us with everything during our stay and even after we left! The appartment is a dream, the hot tub is a huge bonus in the mornings and evenings after a long walk, the area is quiet but vivid already 5-10 min walk away.
