Great place, location, host.

It's a quiet place in the middle of Chianti. The house is beautiful, the kitchen is fully equiped and the garden is amazing.

Given the lack of grocery stores, It would be perfect if one could receive at arrival a little welcoming pack with some sugar, oil or coffee.

The house was amazing, just as the picture, beautiful. It has nice view on the valley and the house has everything necessary for a vacation. It's not right in the city but just a 5 minute drive to the city center. You can get by foot to a nice vinery for a great wine tasting.

The house is perfect for a family of 3 or 4, in its price range. There's nothing extraordinary, but it's quite a pretty house and it is perfectly located for travelling by car around central Tuscany. 45 minutes to Florence, 30 to Siena, 40 to San Gimignano. A bit far from Pisa and Lucca, but you can't have it all. The last bit of the road is dirt/stone, and kind of bumpy, but we didn't mind. The garden is great and has a view, even if it's not the perfect view. You get that everywhere else while driving around.

We have no complaints and we really enjoyed our stay, but I will list here some of the things other people might dislike. Drive carefully up the alley if you have a very low car. WiFi reception is excellent in the livingroom, but not in the bedrooms. Cell reception is sketchy all around the countryside. Occasional encounters with indigenous insects - nothing to worry about, but some less outdoorsy people might be annoyed by them.

Gorgeous property with an amazing outdoor area for relaxing in the Tuscan sun and watching the beautiful sunsets. Perfect location for exploring the Chianti region. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

A really beautiful house, with a great view into the next valley. The owners welcomed us very warmly and showed us everything. The terrace is around the house and invites to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen is very well equipped, there are no wishes open while cooking, it has a freezer and a dish washer, and everything else you need. We cooked every evening, which is always a good idea, regarding the good food you can buy. Dining out in Castellina is also a very good idea. There are a few very good restaurants.
