Great location. Great hosts. Snorkelling was superb

It was incredibly warm while in Caye Caulker which made sleeping a challenge without AC.

Very relaxing and laid back which was exactly what we were looking for.

Patricia was extremely helpful in arranging our transportation from the airport to the ferry and from the ferry to our resort. She did this both arrival and departure. She was always available if we had questions. The facility was very quaint and relaxing.

The resort is on the main street and is very busy. People were quite loud even late at night. But we got used to it and just turned the fan on high. The beaches were covered in seaweed so maybe a seasonal thing.

We loved our stay at Casa Amancer and would def come back!

The location of the property was perfect! it was on the Main Street but a little bit of a walk away from the hustle and bustle. Even though it didn’t have AC the above fan over the bed and the stand fan were enough. I really enjoyed the open concert and the hammocks on the porch. Pat was lovely and responded very quickly to all of our questions.

The things we didn’t like were very small. -the kitchen utensils and pots and pans should be updated as we could barely cut though an onion and the cutting board was very small along with old as splinters were coming out on the food. -there should be a garbage can with a lid in the bathroom as you have to put all of your waste in there.

Super beautiful location and an extremely homely, would 100% stay there again.

The most adorable and comfortable place to stay, super comfortable bed and a lovely open kitchen. Also a lovely lovely hot shower.

Loved everything, there could be maybe 1 ceiling light above the bed; but otherwise I cannot fault it.

Will only stay here!

Absolutely everything was wonderful. The pool was definitely a highlight, however. Very refreshing and airy. Lots of places to relax.

Nothing! There's no AC but that's pretty normal and there were loads of fans. We were quite comfortable!

Wonderful place to stay!

The location was perfect, you would walk to any restaurant on the Island. The courtyard was Beautiful and you could see a bit of the ocean from the porch. The open air was great as long as you got the nighttime Ocean breeze. Amanda was very accommodating before and during out stay.

It is a bit noisy at night because it is located on the main road. It also doesn't have AC which most nights wasn't an issue. The mattress was a little bit stiff.

Very nice place, great terrace/deck and comfy chairs, Wifi was very good, clean and a great host!

Very solid place for the island! Nice location with a view (one block off) of the Caribbean from the deck. Great deck to have morning coffee and chill in the afternoon. Pool was nice and you are basically in a private garden here, the ambience was nice. The villa itself was large, comfy couches and a large usable kitchen for cooking. Close to everything with a short walk. The shower had hot water (a plus on this Island). The island itself is noisy regardless where you are, but things quiet down after 10pm. So sleeping was good, and they had a nice large fan in the bedroom. I would stay again at Casa Amancer if I visited the island, based on what we saw and heard from others, this place was way above average for the price. They also provided bottled drinking water, so that was a big plus!

The bed could have used a pillowtop, but it was fine overall. I would have liked some bleach in the kitchen for adding a bit to the water when rinsing dishes after washing them as the tap water isn't drinkable on the island, so nothing major just a couple small things.

Superb

The room was great! Very good size. We decided to save some money in Caye Caulker and cook. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There are plenty of local grocery stores to shop at to grab anything that you need. My partner and I brought our paddle boards and they were very helpful with getting us what we needed to inflate them. When asked questions before the trip they always got back to me in a timely fashion and answered the million and one questions that I had for them. Amanda's Place is close to everything in town and only a few minutes walk from the Water Taxi and The Split. I would definately recommend a stay at Amanda's Place.

Because it is in the heart of town and close to the main street it is a bit noisy in the evenings and the mornings. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Great spot on the island- will come back!!

Being upstairs had the best breeze ever!! Loved the view ocean! And our own pool was great too!! Most comfortable we felt all vacation and this was our last 4 days. Wished we knew about this gem sooner! We would have stayed here most of the trip and cancelled the other locations!

Wished it had AC for sleeping- i need a cool and less humid area to sleep.

Great, except for no A/C

Nice location, spacious cabana, great pool, friendly hosts

The cabana only has fans and no A/C. If you want to come back to the cabana to cool off, this may not be the place for you. If you don’t mind the lack of A/C and are okay with a few fans, this place is perfect. That was on me to have double-checked....just wanted to give the heads-up.
