Bedrooms were ok, decent view.
I was very disappointed that the pool was closed, its the only reason we booked this hotel and we went in June so was expecting it to be open. Booking.com clearly stated it was open and the pictures would also imply so. I couldn't find anywhere that said it would be closed. It caused us to leave early for a hotel with a pool.

Room was great
Breakfast was very poor

The location is good. Can walk to the historic area in 5 minutes.
The hotel is tired and worn. Seems to cater to tour groups, and banquets. No restaurants, just a small cafe/bar. Photos showed a nice outdoor area with grass, seating area and a pool. I was to it was not accessible. It basically ok if you are just looking for a place to sleep.

We liked the hotel and it's localization. I had information that gluten free diet would be in the hotel, but the waitress did not know anything about it.

Breakfast was pretty basic and not worth 12 euros per person.
One of our rooms was located next to a very noisy guest. We didn’t sleep at all which meant a very tiring journey the next day. The bed was big but extremely hard. When we arrived at 3pm all food was shut until 8.30pm. Booking.com says cafe open all day. This is not the case. Swimming pool very small and need updating.

the staff were friendly
it was very tired, decor was in poor condition, with holes in the walls & marks all over the walls too. bathroom was not clean & shower was not nice at all. the family in the next room we’re smoking & you could hear everything through the walls, their tv, their children & even conversations. the pool was in disrepair, sun beds broken and not very inviting. food was expensive too. not great no idea how the hotel has 4 stars 😏

Great location and good value for money for whoever has a car : it is very easy to park the car on the street (even though not mentioned in the hotel description at least when we went there i.e. out of season). Lovely and helpful staff
The breakfast could have been better : not many things on offer and quality average

People and receptionist were really nice, probably the only good thing about it.
Beds were quite uncomfortable.
Bathroom's shower was a disaster, almost no water was running and it was really difficult to open the tap, it was probably quite rusty.
Some furniture, the armchair in particular, were really dirty and old-looking.

Location
Installations, old bathroom although the shower is updated.

Nice location by the river and adjacent to a well maintained public park. Hotel itself was, in its time, a very grand place but now is showing its age.
Lifts to the rooms, very good, however if you want breakfast one has to descend a long flight of stairs to reach the dining room. If at all disabled I would avoid this hotel.

Great location
Lovely breakfast room with good choice
Helpful staff
The air conditioning in our room didn't work and we had to ask for another room.

The location was perfect
The room - so noisy you can hear every door open and close and people next door too. Very poor sleep as people came back throughout to the early hours.
No table for breakfast so just took a banana and left.

The beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast is also excellent.
The pool was anti cold and without wifi

Good sized room. Air con worked. Reception staff very kind and helpful.
They had managed to run out of bread for breakfast. Rubbish piled up in emergency exits which would result in a fine in most countries.
6.0
outside area pleasant. Location good for walk into town and surrounding area.
Room and bed reasonably comfortable.
Breakfast very poor. No choices, processed meat and cheese. No breads to choose from. Processed, white sliced bread and cakes.
Staff member serving coffees and breakfast was also cleaning toilets in between and not wearing gloves. This is during a pandemic!
Generally a tired hotel but ok.
