Reception area was too hot

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Xmas decorations and lit fire was warm and welcoming.
Our room was cold the receptionist agreed with us so she very kindly gave us her heater . The sink was blocked . We had no bottles of water left in our room.
The cooked breakfast was very small for €16.50 so we cancelled day 2 and ate elsewhere.

Staff was friendly.
Location was okay, but since we had a rental car that was not an issue. The rooms were small and the location of my room was overlooking the courtyard with its loud music and conversation. It was necessary to open the windows to obtain air flow in the room. The staff did provide a fan to move air, upon request. Between the humidity and the noise it was not a positive experience. I wish the staff at 'check-in' had provided the option to not overlook the courtyard with its restaurant, bar and music.

The restaurant was nice
The street is under construction so checking in was problematic. Even more problematic was locating the parking area (which is a church along a side street). It would have been nice to know this ahead of time.

Brilliant location, staff were very friendly.
We had a double room, the bed was small.

Clean
Difficult to access. Parking unclear. Not told restaurant was closed in advance. Service in bar for food appalling- no service at table for 30mins, wrong drinks order brought and then only 2/3 dishes ordered arrived.

The hotel is really nice, and nicely decorated. We loved the natural waterfall that is in the courtyard! The pub is nice which is also within the hotel courtyard.
We had to change rooms after the first night as it was really hot and the air conditioning didn't work. We were told that not all of the rooms have a serviced air conditioning unit, and ours was one of them. We were promised a fan which didn't arrive. We only finally got a fan when we phoned reception at 2am as we couldn't sleep.

Absolutely beautiful building and courtyard, fabulous customer service, huge comfortable rooms all well equipped, spotlessly clean and the location is perfect.
I can’t think of any dislikes tbf.
8.0
The location, the room size and the kindness of the personnel, even when the hotel was full.
We where surprised that in a hotel of this level, there was no air conditioning in the room and we had 27°C inside the room, while in the corridor was cooler and the lobby was the coolest place (around 20~22 or so) Otherwise it would have been a perfect stay.

Very good location, close to the river and the city center. Charming features and a very comfortable space. We were just above the courtyard bar but couldn’t hear a thing - good sound proofing. The bar itself is very cute with great drinks and excellent customer service.
The TV was very small and far away, and our room had very few power outlets. But super minor things - overall an excellent stay!

Close to all areas in cork. The inside alley restaurant is very pretty. Room was spacious and well decorated

Very good spacious room/ suite. Good location near lots of cafes and an easy walk into the city. Had its own waterfall - an unusual feature. Parking nearby was easy to arrange.
Very noisy at night in the courtyard and bar area. Using the door entry card for the lift was slow and temperamental. Reception area slightly dated. Air conditioning in our room not working.

Room was nice, beds comfortable. Great central location within walking distance to wander the city a bit. Parking was challenging in order to unload bags, and parking is for a few, sharing with church parking around the corner.
Parking was challenging as well as unloading luggage. Lots of street road construction In front.

great location, friendly staff, outside bar area was excellent- enjoyed a drink by the waterfall at night ( peaceful and relaxing)
could do with adding a few more tea bags and coffee in room.

The bed was especially special, very comfortable. The room was super clean and spacious, and the same with the bathroom with a very impressive shower head. I found no fault with my stay. The staff were very friendly and informative.

Fabulous find in the centre of Cork! Amazing staff, beautiful restaurants and bars within the same converted warehouse and even with its own waterfall. The staff were super helpful and accommodating, breakfast in the restaurant was a treat one day or there are plenty of cafes nearby. Location was brilliant, close to all transport links and if your budget allows, go to Greenes or Ichigo ichie for a meal, both superb

It was clean, modern inside, and very comfortable and well located. The garden was awesome.
The front desk people did their job well but were not Irish and didn’t have that welcoming and embracing warmth of the Irish. They did the job well but with an Eastern European attitude.

central location, very clean & lovely waterfall feature. will be back again
