Nice and clean :)

Clean, we booked the room 5 minutes in advance because the campsites were sold out. In the morning we checked out at 5am and there were no problems with it.

A little further from the center, but we had a car so it didn't bother us.

I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

Very nice place in a good quiet location. The small fridge and coffee maker were nice touches to the room. Very comfortable bed and common area to sit and read or watch TV.

Not particularly great

The rooms were spacious and the bathroom facilities were sufficient.

We had two rooms that supposedly had double beds, but the beds were in fact two single beds put together. And not just the base of the beds, which often is the case, they had chosen to put double sheets over two single mattresses to try and create a double bed. However, this just created a big dip were the two mattresses met, and made for quite uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. The rooms were also not particularly clean, it was very noisy and the staff on reception were best described as children (literally!!) who couldn't provide assistance when required. We also had a complete power cut in the morning which the staff didn't provide any explanation or assistance in relation to.

We had a great overnight stop and the lodge was close to the town and other facilities in the area.

We loved the location, the friendly staff and the facilities.

A shame the hot tub was out of order at the time of our visit.

1 room out of 2 that we booked had no working Heater and could not get food on the premises er that did not work.

Rooms were clean

One room did not having a working wall heater There were no restaurants on site as per their web page. We were advised that this stopped due to Covid! Why is it still on their own Lake Wanaka Lodge webpage?? No breakfast either! Their own webpage shows meals and breakfast pictures I advised the manager? that their site is misleading to prospective guests.

Clean, comfortable room. Location above Wanaka, geat views. Easy walk to town. Common area had beautiful fire and lounges.

would have liked an aircon, as got too warm at night. The two single bed join with the mattresses.

A little disappointing

Good location and parking

Very small room, was hoping for more facilities like a microwave or sink but had to use the bathroom to fill hot water jug. Tiny old TV in room

Comfortable and clean, great spot!

Easy check in, comfortable and clean. Nice shared lounge area if wanting to chill out with many books. Nice view of Wanaka from the small balcony.

Wasn't sure if there was any shared kitchen facility with a microwave to be able to have some leftovers.

Treasure hunt

The room is clean and nice. Very spacious and warm.

The location of the place, seaching for the place wasted lots of our time and asking people also hard to find. Sign not very visible to see and difficult to find.

Well run hotel a short walk to the town centre and beach

Nice basic hotel. The owner appears to live there so it is really well cared for and very clean and tidy. The walls are a bit thin but everyone was very quiet when we stayed. Lovely comfortable beds. We had an outside table and chairs to enjoy the warm weather.
