Location was fabulous and the property had everything we needed.

Only negative was the on-site shop wasn’t open due to sickness but that couldn’t be helped there was a shop across the water a few mins away and kayaks available to paddle across free of charge so was a bit of an adventure to go to the shop!

Great stay, wonderful family that hosts this place and an excellent restaurant that they are running.

We loved our stay at Gorgonia Apartments! The apartment was very spacious and faced South, overlooking the bay in front. Breakfast in the sun on the balcony every morning:-) The hosts and staff were super welcoming and friendly and we were basically treated like old friends. The location is great with beautiful Sakarun Beach within walking (or cycling) distance. We didn’t travel by car but the public bus stop from and to the ferry is also within easy walking distance. As it was low season everything was blissfully quiet and peaceful. However the restaurant at the hotel was open in the evenings and the food (freshly prepared on the grill) and wine was delicious! We moreover met numerous other guests who have been coming to stay at Gorgonia Apartments for many years, which confirms the excellence of the accommodation and service. Now we’ll have to come back again as well:-)

Loved the view and the location as well as the restaurant downstairs and the bonus of the market (small shop with eggs, fruit veg etc.) Opening times limited. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Kayaks and bikes were free to guests. Such fun

mosquitos during night, even though we closed the balcony door, so we did not sleep well
