Ubicación tranquila

Pasamos 3 días, al llegar tuvimos un problema con las llaves pero lo solucionaron al momento. La zona tranquila ubicada a 20 minutos del centro, donde se podía ir caminando o coger un bus con parada a 100 metros La persona que nos atendió era muy amable. Después de empaparnos con la lluvia de la calle se agradecía que hubiera una buena ducha caliente. La habitación era pequeña pero cómoda.

La cama era dura y en el baño hacia frío.

So many things were broken

Bed comfortable Pretty clean Hot water Shower ok

Sink blocked Shower blocked Wi-Fi did not work TV did not work Scolded my owner for checking in at 8pm Radiator broken but noisy electric heater provided. 2 drunk females talking and shouting all night in nearby room. Without my earplugs it would have been a nightmare.

Local facilities good & easy to get into Edinburgh etc. but very isolating experience.

Location very good for local buses and the Co-op only a few minutes walk was very good. Quiet location which was nice. Kettle and TV in the room and a window seat. The room was cleaned and made up daily. Shared bathroom was always clean in the morning and available most of the time. It wasn't busy when I stayed.

I didn't meet anyone from the property during my entire stay. I would have thought someone would have checked in to welcome me and see all was well. I didn't know I was booking without breakfast. A chest of drawers and an actual wardrobe would have been good. I had to keep most of my clothes/belongings in the suitcase under the window seat. The room really needs to be redesigned especially as it was small, can a small wardrobe/space be built in the wall/partition? Storage in the room could be improved. The hairdryer didn't work, a piece of wood fell of the window and was left unrepaired. Curtain tie back was wonky and again left unrepaired.

Nice room but too expensive

Super friendly host. We were even allowed to drop off our luggage a couple of hours before check-in. Good location, comfy bed and decently sized bathroom.

Too expensive for what you get in our opinion. It coated more to stay one night here than it did to spend two nights at the nicer place where we stayed in Glasgow prior to going there.

The room in which I stayed, was clean and with the essential requirements for my short stay, the staff is friendly and helpful. The building is located 10/15 minutes from the center ( you can walk or take a bus), near the guest house there are many restaurants, coffee shops, ect which offer a wide variety of food like: Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, ect.

Good value for money

Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Edinburgh. I got a single room with a shared. bathroom as I was looking for a low cost option just for myself. The room was clean and the bed was also clean and comfortable and the house itself was quiet. The shared bathroom was clean and the shower was very good. Excellent value for money for somewhere to sleep.

The property is scruffy. the outside is messy, no curb appeal at all. The hallway is cluttered with odd bits of furniture. The whole place is tatty and needs a revamp. The old single glazed windows do nothing against the traffic noise from the bust road outside.

Great place

The guesthouse is very well located, quiet and comfortable. The check in is really easy. I had to share the bathroom with nobody which was nice

No frills, budget friendly, kid safe

Short walk from Princes Street and the Old Town. Affordable. Practical. Basic amenities met. On suite toilet. TV in room.

Wouldn't go as far as saying I didn't like anything although I found it strange that it was a house rule not to leave the window open and as a result the room was too warm. As a whole you get what you pay for and for £72 a night for 2 people (1 adult/1 child) just a stone throw from the city centre/Old Town it was perfect for what we needed which was a safe bed to sleep in for the night. No frills or fancy decor etc but it really wasn't needed.

Not worth the money, room smelt of mildew and toilet leaked.

The beds were comfortable and water pressure was ok, it was quiet and no noise from street. It is fine for a basic place to stay but I cannot get over the price for no breakfast, no staff around and its a 20 min walk from centre.

I never really add reviews but felt need to. The toilet was leaking , the room smelt like Mildew (likely from ongoing leak into the carpet and the drains gave off a horrible smell when you used the sink or shower which made the whole room smell so bad. I just felt that for what you are paying this didn't feel worth it at all. Never saw any staff around to report anything. Pretty basic and functional.

A good place for young couples for a few days trip

I was quite good for a few days trip if you just need a cosy place to sleep.

Maybe I could use a mini bar or something because I have food allergy, but fortunately we put this out to the window’s edge. Sometimes the radiator didn’t even tempting so usually it was cold in the room.

Would definitely return!

Great location - just a short walk to the city centre. The bed was extremely comfortable. Adam was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again, good value for money.

Could probably do with a bit of a deep clean but overall a great stay and don’t have any complaints.
