Excellent accommodation, location and hosts

- The house looks beautiful! (I love architecture and design) - The room was very nice and clean. From the description I thought the room and bed were going to be small so it was a pleasant surprise to see how spacious it was and that the bed was bigger than a single. - Very warm and welcoming hosts who I had a lovely chat with and were so helpful with my needs such as parking provision and an earlier breakfast - Continental Breakfast served in your room every morning - The location was so convenient. It took me less than 10 minutes to walk into Bowness for dinner My overall experience was great! Thanks Mark and Emma!

Everything! Lovely spotless room, great breakfast delivered to room. Location is just right about halfway between Windermere and Bowness. Will definitely return Stayed in Deluxe King room

Amazing stay. Highly recommend this spot in Windermere. Only a 10 min walk to the main restaurants.

Excellent service.

The host family are very kind, helpful and professional. Very large, clean and comfortable room. Quiet area, not far from the lake.

Just ok

Very large room.

Very noisy due to position of the property (busy road) in the front. Duvet was extremely uncomfortable, hot and with feathers which not everyone likes and not very hygienic( mattress was wet due to excessive sweat)

Mark is a great host!! Room was lovely as was the breakfast. Windemere is a great location to explore the Lake District! Highly recommended!

Very comfortable and enjoyable.

Lovely spacious room with 2 windows and lounge area. The healthy continental breakfast delivered to the room to enjoy whilst watching the news on TV.

Just being picky - I always prefer white towels so that you can see that they are clean and my husband remarked that more shelves in the bathroom would have been useful.

absolute perfection!

the property was in a prime location. very clean and well lit we slept with the balcony doors open to the sound of trickling water outside. it was beautiful. the owners both kind and welcoming and we couldn’t ask for more during our stay! the breakfast was perfect and a really nice touch. we would not hesitate to book again Thankyou

A wonderful relaxing experience.

The peaceful setting was perfect. looking out into the woods with the stream gurgling past was so relaxing. the space is compact yet roomy enough. very clean and comfortable and just what we needed to unwind.

Excellent stay, Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic 2 night break at the Coach House, The owners were brilliant, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, The breakfast was continental and delivered to our room exactly when requested and both the quality and quantity were very good. The room was clean, well maintained, bright and well equipped. The location is excellent, allowing a short walk to both Windermere and Bowness. We were allowed to park in the car park before checking in and also after wed checked out which was really useful. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would most definitely book again.

Excellent, immaculate inside, parking outside, great location and hosts were extremely polite and available if needed.

property was immaculate from entering the door to leaving, very high standard.

There is not a single thing I can say, it was fantastic from start to finish.

a lovely stay, we would definitely choose to stay here again

we were looked after from start to finish, the owners couldn’t do enough for us! the room was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. we would 100% choose to stay here again, it is in a fantastic location with the centre of bowness only a short walk away. thank you so much to the owners for such a fantastic stay!

Delightful Historical Coach House

Beautifully presented historical property. Delightful entrance and smells great! Hosts welcoming and lovely, very accommodating and care about what they are doing. Breakfast was delicious. Good location between Windermere and Bowness, both within walking distance.

Nothing to report here, except parking a bit tight? just something to be aware of, however overall nothing negative.

10/10 would recommend to anyone

the hosts were very accommodating and it really felt like they were welcoming me into their home. actually I woke up several times confused because for a moment I thought I was back in my own house! I had a great stay and the convenient location meant I got to maximise my time exploring the beauty of the Lake District. also the rooms are wonderfully decorated with interesting art and made to feel very cozy.

Perfect for couples looking for a long weekend away in the Lakes!

comfy bed, great location, friendly and attentive hosts, tasty breakfast - just what we needed!

Shower door a little faulty, a bit more storage space might have been useful.

Exceptional

Just had a lovely stay this weekend at this beautiful bnb in Windermere. Full of character and charm! Rooms are very clean, cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and the hosts were lovely and accommodating. Breakfast delivered to your room. Mini fridge, tea / coffee / milk / hot chocolate and biscuits also supplied. Ideal location away from the busy town centres of Windermere and Bowness, but walking distance to go there. It is on a main road but could hear nothing in our room. Great night sleep after all the walking we did. Would fully recommend any one to book here and would certainly book again here if visiting this area of the Lake District. Thank you again for making us feel so welcome :) Aynsley & Ed
