very comfortable hotel by a beautiful beach

The rooms are spacious with a big balcony. Staff is super helpful and friendly. The beach is calm and beautiful. All in all a wonderful experience

The perfect place to spend some relaxing days at the beautiful beach

Amazing hotel with a beautiful pool and beach! The sea is a bit rough, but still great to dip in. The food is delicious, massages relaxing and the staff is incredibly friendly. Perfect for a quiet getaway outside the city!

Fantastic resort with phenomenal views

The location is stunning. Rooms are beautifully presented. Very peaceful environment. Staff very kind and helpful. The owners are also around the resort and make an effort to check in and make sure everything is running smoothly with your stay. Can’t recommend 7 Turtles enough.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön am Strand gelegen. Wer ein paar Tage Entspannung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Das Essen war gut, die Zimmer sind toll, es war rundum perfekt.

Отличный персонал. Тихое, спокойное место для релакса. Мало пар с детьми. Никто не бегает, не орет (как это бывает обычно в больших отелях). Хозяева отеля и персонал всегда помогут. Отличный бассейн. Хорошая еда. Ни разу не было проблем с желудком. Понравилось то что все цены конечные, без дополнительных сервисных сборов и налогов (как например у нас было в Коломбо). То есть то что стоит в прайсе, то и платится. СПА простенький, но очень хороший. Мне массаж тут понравился больше чем в Коломбо в Shangri La отеле. Цены на массаж приемлемые.

Не очень комфортные подушки и постельное белье.

Perfect place to stay for a relaxing break by the beach!

An excellent relaxing stay in a lovely beach front property. Relaxed and calm atmosphere perfect for chilling out and listening to the waves roll in. Great staff provide an excellent service. Good WiFi and comfortable rooms.

Not a criticism but the property is off paved road and along around 1km of dirt road which has been damaged due to flooding so worth bearing in mind when picking transport to get to and from the property.

Beautiful hotel that feels like paradise

This hotel is an absolute paradise! The staff welcomed us with open arms, offered us a welcome drink en wanted to help us with anything. Food was very nice, location superb; right on the beautiful beach.

From great food to hospitality from staff & "cappuccino " was so great. Very quiet place if you like to have some quiet experience. Food was really great & the bungalow was really great. Thank you seven turtle.

Wonderful! Lovely room, great calm location directly on the beach, extraordinary vegetarian curries! Efficient service at the restaurant, everything served in several minutes after ordering. In addition, we arrived very early and even though our room was not ready and 4 hours in advance of check in, we were given intermediary room for rest.

Total relaxation in Tangalle

Wonderful boutique hotel on one of the best unspoilt beaches in Sri Lanka. Great owners, staff, food and service. Loved it !.

A perfect relaxing hotel.

The whole atmosphere was so relaxing, the staff were exceptional, the owner Constantine was so helpful and accommodating, can't praise the owner enough.

Everything was perfect. Food, the room was spotless there was nothing we could didn't like.

A perfect beach getaway

The best accomondation we had during our whole stay in Sri Lanka. If you are looking for a relaxed beach holiday, this is the place to go! Beautifully located at an almost empty beach, a perfect oasis for talking walks, reading or going on a bike trip (free bike rentals!). The owners and the staff were absolutely lovely and the food was amazing. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Taxi prices organised through the hotel can be a bit steep so it might be wiser to organise transportation yourself through a local taxi company.

Great deal, great location, great hotel.

Great location, big rooms, very affordable for what you get (e g very large portions of food), just a very good deal this place.

Not much. Sri Lankan breakfast could have been better but that's just a very small point of an otherwise amazing stay.

A piece of lovely Sri Lanka

Our stay here was amazing. Very clean and comfy villa right near the beach area. The food was delicious, probably the most delicious food in all over Sri Lanka (and we had 20 days in this lovely country).The stuff and the owner is very friendly, kind and attentive.

Nothing particularly, maybe only the plenty of biting insects sometimes, but that's generally a downside of a tropical area :).

This hotel overdelivered! The rooms but also everything else is beautifully designed and well thought. There was really nothing missing. Food was also excellent and I loved that you could order every meal at the bar right at the beach. 7 turtles is amazing and you should book it asap!

Fantastic stay!

We had a great stay at Seven Turtles. The owners are super friendly and welcoming and we felt right at home. Very good service from all the staff. Loved the swimming pool and the location which is right on a stunning part of the beach. Very peaceful and quiet, and the whole hotel has a chilled out atmosphere and vibe. Will definitely come back.

Little paradise

Everything was perfect. This place is a little paradise that I fully recommended . The view on the ocean is magic. The beach is stunning - you have the feeling that it's here only for you. Rooms are very confortable and big Restaurant is good, as well as breakfast. They even have a spa with a therapist. Everybody is nice. It was honestly difficult to leave the place you can easily spend a few days here.

Honestly almost nothing. Just two micro detail :. 8:30 is a little bit late to start the breakfast and massage room could be a bit modernized (but the therapist is so amazing that you really forget it !)

Relaxing stay but a little isolated (but only 30min to the best beach we visited)

The staff were really nice and welcoming. Ideal chilled vibe with lots of areas to relax. The food was good, especially the Granola bowl for breakfast!! Room was large and comfortable with a massive balcony, ours had a great sea view. The hotel is on the beach which is very long for nice walks, but is not a Bay Area. the beach is very clean and quiet. In the evenings make sure you have plenty of mosquito spray as biting flies are everywhere!!!

The hotel is quite isolated and whilst there were other bars and hotels along the beach they were empty, because we were told this was off season. However we got a taxi to Hiriketiya beach, the best we’ve visited, in 30min You can swim in the sea but the waves are quite fierce, so need to be a confident swimmer.

A one of a kind hotel, beautiful design, great food, very very friendly staff, hospitable and supporting, a unique and remote location. We spent 2 weeks there and would always come back.

Peaceful beautiful beach getaway

What a beautiful place. It’s peaceful and located on a beautiful beach which sometimes when walking is all yours. The staff at the bar are great. We even saw green sea turtles hatch in front of the hotel. I think this only happens a couple of times a year so we were very lucky. Our room was big with a lovely deck and view of the ocean. Food at the resort is really good and the breakfasts are massive.

I’m nit picking here as the place is wonderful. Sun lounger mats are very thin so not very comfortable.

Island on an island !

The location was wonderful and the private beach is spectacular! Truly a place to refresh ,relax and take a break from it all. The Restaurants fresh seafood is also excellent Truly and Island on an Island

We hope to return!

Beautiful beach, a great base to explore the surrounding area. The property is private, not being overlooked. The pool is lovely with multiple seating areas right on the beach. The rooms were large, clean, fresh and with a very comfortable bed. It was lovely to wake up and sit on the balcony. The food was all delicious, and staff were very friendly. They helped organised good transport. We could have easily stayed longer. We certainly recommend.

We returned just after 9pm and the bar had closed, this was not an issue but it would have been nice to have a nightcap, watching the waves before bed.

Exceptional

Fantastic place. Very intimate and idyllic on a beautiful beach. Large, clean, nicely decorated rooms with a large balcony and amazing view of the pool, garden and ocean. We had half-board and were positively surprised it included three courses for dinner.

Food was a little disappointing. Not bad at all, but definitely nothing special.
