We rented this place because of the recommendations, photos, and experience that the owners said they offered. Our experience was not the most pleasant for many reasons; from the start of the booking process, the manager took a long time to respond to our requests, but we thought it was due to the high demand for other events they could have at the property. They offered us several vendors of food, decoration, etc., but they were not useful to us, so we were able to find our own vendors. The only thing we needed from them was tables and chairs that, according to the photos on the listing, were good quality, which was not the case; they rented us horrible tables and chairs that were old and all of different styles. In addition, we wanted to check in earlier, and they told us that every hour was $50 extra for each hour early we were. When we arrived, we had not received any information from anyone about the check-in process and had to guess how to get directions. Regarding the house, the beds, bathrooms, wardrobes, and other rooms had mouse poop on them; the toilet paper they provided was half-used, and you could see mice creeping around in the middle of the night as if they owned the place. I guess since we were a very small gathering, they were not interested in giving us good service.

Michael was a great host - very responsive and took very good care of us during our stay. Lots of space to spread out in the house, which had lots of artistic and eclectic and vintage furniture and decorations. Will definitely come back!

We had a great time while at the house and we threw an event on the property which ended up having perfect weather and made for a wonderful day in the mountains! Unfortunately, our experience with the landlord and property management wasn't so great. We were clear from the beginning we were having an event for about 100 people. We were told the large barn could work for it. We were told it was clean and had working bathrooms. Our parents drove up to view the barn but found it unsanitary for food, drinks, and kids as there were birds living in it, poop on the floor, and non-operational bathrooms. So, we opted for the field instead. We rented a tent and paid for outdoor bathrooms. We were initially in contact with Kaislyn who managed payment. However, Kaislyn became increasingly difficult to reach so we primarily worked with Michael. As we were on our way to the house we were suddenly bombarded with messages that we hadn't paid for the field and that there were extra charges for mowing and setup which were never communicated to us. Michael and Kaislyn also accused us of not being transparent about the size of our event even though we had our parents view the big barn and always told them about 100 people (90 in the end). Ultimately, we paid any fees they requested (we couldn't possibly cancel by that time) and we even mowed the lawn ourselves. When leaving, we asked if a later checkout was okay and were told "no problem" - after we left they said it was an extra $100.
