My family and I came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and to get a little downtime before the holidays. The house and grounds are great! It was clean with plenty to do and I especially loved the added Christmas decorations. The house was well stocked and cute and cozy. The handheld shower in the closet tub took a bit of getting used to but we managed to fine. It’s close to a lot of fun hill country adventures and there is a state park a half a mile away. Anna was great to work with and friendly. I would highly recommend this location!

The property is located closer to Canyon Lake than any other property we found. Indoors were nice and mostly as described. There is a multitude of outdoor seating areas and grilling area and pets would love this place. The cooling inside was way better than the listing suggests. Outdoors are so nicely wooded that we were able to spend a lot of time outside on an otherwise hot summer evening and saw deer and some interesting reptiles we spent a lot of time watching. The hot tub button did not work and eventually talked to the manager and was guided to the controls that got things working. The access key could use some more detailed instructions on which one to use (there were two keying areas on each entry) and it needed multiple tries to get unlocked since it was sensitive to the timing (the manager helped over the phone). Overall, our group of 3 families and dog had an amazing time at this property. This has nothing to do with the property but we meant to go to Paddle Canyon Lake but the lot filled up fast and were diverted to the main Canyon Lake Beach area which was a less than ideal beach.

Great property! We stayed so we could be close to the venue for our daughter’s wedding. There was ample room for the bridesmaids to stay with us. The home is very rustic and quaint. also very close to the lake so we spent the rest of the weekend on the water relaxing.

This is an adorable cabin. The two cabins are perfect, clean and comfortable. The property is fabulous. We especially loved the porch swings. It was too hot for the hot tub and the fire pit, but we loved sitting outside at night looking at the stars. We saw deer, foxes, and armadillo. It was perfect!!

Rented for the weekend for a kids back to school/end of summer thing. The property is, as described, very rustic...doors don't shut well (as in you can't get the front door to lock because the door won't shut without the force of a linebacker) and the fridge took overnight to cool down food. The house did stay cool even in very hot weather. Most everything you need to cook with but bring ice. No ice maker and only two ice trays in the freezer when we got there. Be mindful that there is only one sink/shower/bath in each cabin. There are two toilets in the main cabin. Although you can technically sleep 8 in the main cabin....they are all going to share one shower. The rest of the story...after checking out i was contacted, rudely, by the owner and property manager (which they aren't supposed to do) about the "disgusting" way the property was left. Mind you, these are 12-16 year old kids and someone spilled a soda bottle in a storage bin that contained extra linen. They complained about having to sweep a few broken chips off the floor and a torn shower curtain. Threatened to have me banned from Evolve and banned from any of their owned properties. Two minor accidents and they are ready to burn you to the ground.

Wonderful Place to Celebrate Thanksgiving
We had a wonderful time gathering with friends and family to celebrate Thanksgiving. The homes were clean and we appreciated having two refrigerators to store Turkey Day leftovers. Our dogs loved having space to roam, and the secured dog run was a huge plus. Our favorite part of the trip was gathering around the fire pit. We were pleasantly surprised that firewood was provided.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean with no issues. The manager was very attentive to ensure we had a nice stay. We had everything we needed! The grounds were beautiful and close to a boat ramp. Canyon Lake is the cleanest, clearest lake we have ever been too! We will be back and thank you for your hospitality!

A Wonderful Time Thanks to a Wonderful Host
My family and I had the most wonderful time during our stay at Canyon Lake Cabins! Although we arrived a day earlier than we were supposed to (had a mixup on check in dates - my fault!), the property owner and cleaning staff were very accommodating and welcoming! It was so refreshing waking up every morning to the sight of deer roaming in the yard, and the hot tub jacuzzi was the perfect closer to the chilly day! With 4 adults, 2 infants, and 1 dog, we had ample room and enjoyed our time together as a family. The cabins were in a prime location, and we enjoyed exploring Hill Country and neighboring Austin, San Antonio, and San Marcos! We cannot wait to visit again!!
