The room offered great space and a balcony and accomadated us for our travelling needs. The beds were comfy and the staff friendly and helpful mostly. The room was perfectly located for the beach, only 1 minute walk away. Local bars, restaurants and grocery shops with 4 minutes walk. The inclusive breakfast offered a great continental selection suitable for a range of dietary requirements.

The time for inclusive breakfast was a little short and could have extended time until 11am. The bedroom tv only showed two channels and having to pay for a clean beach towel.

I liked the view and the bed

The location was good, it was a 5 minute walk to the beach and just around the corner from the shops and restaurants. They had free air con which was a blessing for the warm nights! The cleaners were lovely and so professional.

The staff were very rude. I feel like they didn’t want to be there, they didn’t really want to help guests if there was an issue. It was very clear all the cared about was getting money for rentals/sun loungers or dining in their hotel. The place is very out dated. To say four star I feel is very much wrong. I felt like I had walked into a old folks home. The beds were rock solid, I know they can’t comply with everyone’s comfort needs but my god to have mattresses that hard surely can’t be okay. I wouldn’t stay hear again, I’m 27 and I’m not a rude person honestly. I’m a mum of two and this was a break. I don’t speak back to anyone but the hotel staff genuinely made me feel like a little girl again and I hated it. There’s no need to speak to people with no respect!

The system at breakfast was ridiculous waiting to be seated but no podium so very unclear whether you could walk straight in or not. Also the food for breakfast was not great. Also some of the servers kept snapping dishes away before you were finished.

Cala Dor is pretty, the hotel is actually in Cala Egos, it's about 30minutes walk to Cala Dor. The Staff are excellent, especially Francisco, but all staff very good. Food is also very good, Half Board Works Well. Lovely outlook to the Sea, little coves all good

It is a bit out from the centre of Cala Dor, but I guess that's what makes it so pretty. Some of the entertainment could have been better. Maybe a kettle in the room, would be a benefit. But really these are small niggles.

Couldn’t go

Husband didn’t have any closed in shoes so we couldn’t go for breakfast

The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel is vey well located there’s a beach right in front and many restaurants, supermarkets and shops just one block away. The pool is nice and calm. The perfect place to relax and run away from the young party ones.

The TV didn’t have so many channels. The bathroom could be renewed, the shower is not strong enough and sometimes the drain smells like sewage.

It was clean and the room was bright and spacious.

We were disappointed that the hotel was mostly accomodating large tourist groups, mainly elderly people. I’m sorry to say but it had a vibe of a nursing home and smelled like it as well. The staff barely spoke english and when we checked out 2 days earlier as we really had an awful time there they didn’t even bother to ask why we were checking out sooner. The food was okay, again mainly accomodating to what elderly english people like, there wasn’t a lot of authentic spanish food that you’d expect in a 4 star hotel. Overall it was a poor experience.

the hotel was dated , location on beach was good , some facilities not open , in need of investment . too controlling given 1 table to sit at for the who weeks dinning experience . long trousers and closed toe foot ware at 34 Deg’s . so not reflective of current culture . lots and lots of old people

The staff is amazing. They really helped with everything you needed. Everyday the room was super clean. Breakfast was more then enough. I only had some trouble with the wifi but that wasn't a big deal. The fact that the beach was litterly across the street was perfect. Also the bed was super comfortable!
