Excellent location.

The communal areas were not big enough for our party and yet we were 12 instead of the advertised number of 19 that were supposed to be accommodated. The bed arrangements were not ideal and seemed to be set up to accommodate as many people as possible. The WiFi did not work. The company did not respond to complaints.

Only good thing about this property is the location. Although it states to sleep 19 people, this is not accurate. The bunk beds are unsafe & were broken, so none of the children could sleep on the top bunks. The sofa bed in the basement is of very poor quality & need to be replaced.

We were a large group - family, with kids. We had a terrible stay at the Chocolate Box. The photos are NOT an accurate reflection of the state of the property. The house was filthy, with a number of damages that had not been addressed including banister on the second floor; bunk bed frames (it was too dangerous for us to place any of the children in the top bunks, as the frames were dislodged & moving); broken, loose, heavy glass shower door and a number of broken bathroom tiles. There was mould in all the showers, a foul damp sell in the basement & from the kitchen sink. There was dust everywhere, especially on the light fixtures which aggravated allergies for few of our guests. The property overall needs a good clean & updating. Location is good. The management company were not helpful & did not address the issues we raised. I would not recommend this place to anyone - it was the worst place that I have ever stayed at & I have travelled a lot! The photos need to be updated to reflect the actual state of the property. I would never have booked if I had seen honest reviews about this property.

The property is so close to the beach and has all the amenities needed! Overall great stay and would recommend!

It was mainly clean but some furniture would need moving to make it extra clean - very sticky under the sofas where we needed to get the table extensions!

Fantastic location, nice and roomy

Slightly dated in terms of wear and tear.

Excellent location, close to all amenities with short walking distances. The house was well organised meaning it housed a large number of people but still felt spacious. It was well kept and clean, whilst oozing character with its funky decor. I would recommend this property to large groups and would happily stay here again if I was in the area.
