The house is very nice, the view is stunning and it's so quiet. perfect spot !!

The transat arround the pool are not very comfortable

Located in a rural environment, yet close to best little known beaches around Alcudia. Wonderful views from the terrace and a large quite plot of land all to enjoy. The renting agency and the owner was helpful and tried to make most out of what was possible despite all the shortcomings.

This villa is NOT suitable for renting, especially not for such a price range. It is a major DIY disaster, with shabby fittings and equipment. Water is an issue, as it is not connected to the main utility, so served by an underground water tank. Expect no water pressure from the shower or the sinks. Hot water is also an issue. It is served by ancient gas boiler, so do not expect normal shower possibilities: it is either boiling hot (for a short period) or completely cold. The other major problem is related to electricity, or rather the lack of it. We were told, after having discovered the faults, that the house is “eco”, this is why the whole of electricity is to be produced by solar panels. However, the solar panels are not able to produce enough electricity for a house of this size. We had to learn it the hard way: we ran out of electricity during the evening. The owner provided a petrol generator for the night, which sorted out the problem the day after...just had to listen to it the whole night every night from thereon. Another annoyance is that only the living room has air conditioning, which is not able to cool down the rest of the house, especially the bedrooms. So sleeping was an issue after days of 30-35 degrees C. Moreover, due to the poor electricity system, you are not supposed to run the airco in parallel to the dishwasher or any other major electric appliance as the house is not connected to the electricity grid at all and solar panels/batteries cannot cope. Apart from all this, the furniture and the fittings have passed their time long ago and are in heavily used condition. So I would strongly advise not to spend your hardly earned money on this, unless you want to end up as disappointed as we have.

The house is beautifully located between Alcudia and Port D'Alcudia. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay (there was even some food so you didn't have to do shopping straight away). You'll need to rent a car tough but it's totally worth it. There are several pretty beaches and towns close by (couple of minutes driving).

You'll have to be careful on the road towards the house since there are a couple of narrow points and there's no light at night, but you get used to it.
