Has everything you need. Beds are comfortable, good washing machines and dryers, plenty of kitchen utensils, and friendly staff. It is quiet enough for you to relax and still has good social environments in the common areas. Really enjoy this hostel and will be here for the next few months.
My fork and spoon keep falling on the floor due to the holes in the storage crates š

The atmosphere and vibes are great. Staff are amazing and friendly.
The shower in the private suite is not well-maintained. The water flow is very low and water temperature doesnāt stay steady. There is not storage inside the suite. If you plan to go to reef fleet terminal, itās about 30 minutes walking distance.

cute little hostel. we stayed in a private room and it was clean, tidy and comfortable!

The bed was comfy, wifi is working well, free brekkie was a bonus
toilet was not as clean as I thought, a bit noisy when there was party at night

The location was perfect as itās a short walk into the city and short walk to the gym so a win win!
Breakfast was a great addition for us and they had plenty to chose from which set us up for the day!
All the staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay, they were always busy cleaning and tidying the hostel!

The location is also good, you only need 15 Minutes to the main shopping center (food + clothes) & as well as to the beach
There are way too many people for such a small kitchen. In the evening it was not possible to cook properly because everything was already in use or dirty. There are also not enough seats and sometimes the tables are left really dirty.

Delicious breakfast, and the staff were really friendly! The outdoor dining area's really nice to hang out in as well, and I like being so close to the ocean.
The fridge room could maybe do with being a little larger, as it was difficult to move around with multiple people using it and finding a place to store my things took some creativity.

Best hostel I have been to so far. Great price and the most helpful and nice staff. Breakfast is great and free gym is also included.

staff was very welcoming and always helpful; cool pool area; it was nice to spend the nights with other guests in the common area; breakfast is essential but the pancakes are a nice touch

Nothing unfortunately.
Basic backpackers hostel. I picked the four room bunk. Room had a weird smell, like wet towel. Realised the room was carpeted and that there was a sink in the room, which probably explains the smell - wet smelly carpet smell. Shower and toilets were outdated and again, had a weird smell. I booked for four days in total but ended up cancelling my last two days. Would rather pay more for better and cleaner facilities.

The facilities at Mad Monkey Village are great, the kitchen and toilets are always super clean and the staff are lovely and helpful. The pool is the perfect place to relax in the afternoon and a great spot to socialise.

I loved my time at Mad Monkey Village, it has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable... they really go above and beyond with free gym membership, free pancake breakfast and a such a homely, clean hostel! The pool is great and there are plenty of areas to chill out and make friends:)

The hostel is clean with good facilities. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Free bbq and breakfast. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere to meet people. The shared toilets and showers were always clean and the kitchen is very nice and big. Would definitely recommend!
